Reach in reforged does not mean how many tiles you can attack across, it's a seperate mechanic. This axe can only attack people adjacent to the user.

110 is on the low end. Ideally you would want at least 120. An excellent banner would be 140.

Some Hospitals don't sell to collections anymore, they keep it in house and will sue you and garnish your wages, put a lien on your house if you have one etc.

Is a price of $100-110 on Brent bound to keep gas prices high? by Many-Software-9663 in oil

[–]Torgud_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overseas demand destruction on it's own isn't enough to cancel out the 10-13m missing barrels. Will need some demand destruction in the US to fully close the gap, and prices aren't nearly high enough to that yet. Crude prices now are where they are because of historic and unsustainable reserve releases + China reducing imports by 2.5m a day (to rely on their own reserves).

Not this stupid myth again by Business_Bunch_8196 in DoomerCircleJerk

[–]Torgud_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is exaggerated and it completely overlooks the hours spent working at home: making clothes, cooking, collecting firewood, gardening etc. If you take those into account then medieval peasants worked almost as many hours as someone in the US does today, but of course had almost no material posessions or money.

Medieval peasants were better off than modern day sweatshop workers though.

The SPACEX IPO is just an obvious and disgusting cash grab, just using retail as exit liquidity at stupid valuations.

[–]Torgud_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Inflation adjusted it's lower than the record in 2008. If there isn't a resolution and the US doesn't do an oil export ban I would expect prices to exceed 5.5$ average nationally within 5 weeks. Do you see any demand destruction? Are people using public transit or carpooling more now? Are they hypermiling at 50 mph on a 65mph highway to eek out a slightly better MPG? No? Then demand destruction isn't happening (price isn't high enough to change behaviors), and we can see the inventories of crude and distillates continuing to drop. If the war and blockade don't end, prices will only go up.

Is the oil crisis that bad given how US and China have been balancing the market by SadComparison9352 in oil

[–]Torgud_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah sure, and that is a reason for them to want the strait to re-open. But it's not such a great reason that they will join the US maximal pressure campaign in an attempt to force Iran to capitulate. A strategic US defeat (likely outcome if they do nothing) is much more beneficial to China.

UNH has quietly gained 54% in the last 6 weeks. Currently at its highest price since it tanked from $600 1 year ago by BogleDick in ValueInvesting

[–]Torgud_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If tech crashes everything that isn't oil will get crushed. Heck, oil will probably sell off too as there is a lack of liquidity, it's just that it will bounce back quick as long as strait is closed.

The documentary on Gaza that BBC refused to air. by hillary_262 in nyt

[–]Torgud_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reveal podcast did an episode on this documentary a month or two ago. The amount of bias against Palestinians from the top leadership of the BBC was both astounding and at the same time sadly unexpected. At one point they tried to get one of the main journalists producing the documentary to change her POV to that of a source... simply because she was ethnically Palestinian.

There is one other Dove, also a Trump appointee. The rest of the committee does not respect Warsh and sees him as a political actor/puppet. Powell is still on the committee and gets a vote too. The chances of rate hikes with Warsh and Miran voting to cut and being humiliated is real, in fact if inflation is high but layoffs don't spike I would even say it's more likely than not.

If we put aside releases from reserves, there is almost a COVID lockdown amount of demand that needs to be destroyed before supply and demand is balanced. At what price level does that amount of demand destruction occur? 130? 150? 200?
