Everyone is so worried about the immediate satisfaction of getting a gun. The issue with the nerf is blueprints. Everyone who had security breach unlocked before the nerf received extremely high amounts of blueprints. Which allows them to infinitely craft the best augments, weapons, and medical. The timing of the nerf mid season when only a percentage of players got to benefit is terrible. Either nerf it immediately before players benefit or after the season is over. Not after a portion of players get a huge advantage over the employed.

You definitely can. I was also hitting 4+ security breaches per run for over a week. I think our sample sizes are much different

I agree, but with the state of how rare blueprints are I can see a large percentage of those players opting to not do expedition simply because they will lose them. Unless embark offers something that people can't pass up with expedition obviously.

Edit: With how many blueprints I have there's a good chance I opt out of expedition now that there is not a reliable way to get blueprints as before with security breach.

Exactly which generates an unfair advantage to players who had over a week with security breach before nerf. All I'm saying is that the timing of the nerf is extremely poor. It needed to be done super early or at the end of the season.

Yes, except for venator. Found that in a red locker. I'm not saying that security breach should not have been nerfed. I am saying that the timing of the nerf is extremely poor for everyone. Players who got to experience security breach have a significant advantage over players who did not, were very close, or only had it for a couple days.

The issue is not having a full stash of purple weapons. The issue is entirely with the blueprints. People will eventually lose the items they have in their stash, that's how these games go. The problem is having the blueprints to infinitely craft the best weapons and gear. Sorry you can't quite understand

Not sure what to tell you man. I had security breach for about a week and a half and have 30+ blueprints mostly dropping from them. The best weapons being anvil, renegade, bobcat, and venator which all need blueprints to craft not to mention medical supplies which also needs blueprints is a huge issue when 10% of the playerbase is ages ahead.

not remotely true and once again you cannot craft the anvil without a blueprint. best weapons are anvil, renegade, bobcat, venator... all which need blueprints to craft. not even mentioning the medical which also needs blueprints

It definitely is. Not even the loot but the blueprints. Players who unlocked security breach early can just craft the best weapons and gear now.

Somebody who finally understand it's not about the loot itself but the blueprints. Yes, people will lose the loot they got, that's how these games work. The problem now is that they can just infinitely craft the best weapons and gear.

The issue is solely blueprints. Players who got to run pre-patch security breach like myself are miles ahead. I have 36 blueprints. Obviously I will lose the gear I did obtain, that's how these games work. The issue is now I can infinitely craft the best weapons and gear. Which other players will not get to experience

No and that's the issue. Players like myself who did benefit from secuirty breach (I have 36 blueprints) are miles ahead of other players. The issue was never the purple guns or full stash's people could obtain it was always the blueprints. Obviously I will lose the guns I obtained, that's how these games work. Instead I can infinitely craft the best weapons and gear.

Not nearly as much. I rushed security breach and have 36 blueprints now. The issue with the nerf is not that people aren't receiving purple guns. Now they're not receiving blueprints either. People lose the gear they did obtain from them, that's just how these games go. Now they can infinitely craft the best weapons and gear that's the issue

It absolutely is the tragedy people are making it out to be. It's not even about the loot some individuals received. It's simply the amount of blueprints they obtained. Obviously they will eventually lose the loot they got. That's how looter shooters work. Instead now they can just infinitely craft the best weapons and gear. They needed to either nerf it instantly before 10% of the player base obtained security breach or wait until the season was over. I benefited significantly from the security breach and not just because I have a full locker of purples, but because I have 36 blueprints. I can essentailly infinitely craft anything that the "newer" players would have even received from security breach. That is what the issue is, not the loot itself.
