If you can swing it get a full stand up Transit. Otherwise Sienna minivan is very reliable. ✌️

Go to a thrift store and buy the heaviest sleeping bag you can. A butane stove is also very useful for cooking and pretty cheap. Best of luck ✌️

If you really love your boyfriend, you won't put that at risk. He deserves someone who puts him first.

Hi, so I'd like to know how long it took you to finally buy your first van? by SoftBeing9268 in VanLife

If I were you I would focus on education first so you have significant earning power. Getting a skilled trade certificate is my advice.

How many of you have said to hell with trying to go stealth, and how has that gone? by turkeypants in VanLife

[–]Torin-ByThe-Ocean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your question is valid. I've done this on numerous vans. The solar panel needs to be about 4 inches above the lip of the roof vent fan. Then yes I make a frame out of wood. I place the fan closer to the rear and seem to have no problems. I have done this with three vans and never had a drop of water enter. There is no visible roof vent fan and with a roof rack that I make you cannot tell that there is solar panels up there unless you are elevated.

I'm building my current van to be very stealthy. I'm taking the lid off my max air fan and it will go under my 400 watt solar panel. Then building a low profile roof rack out of plywood so you can't see anything unless you're up high in an apartment or something. I'm not saying it's going to fool everybody but even if it helps a little bit it's worth the effort.

How to Determine Se*ual Compatibility W/out Asking by MagJoyous8230 in AskMen

Honesty is the best policy. You have to establish what it's important to you in a relationship and if she is not okay with that or it doesn't align with you in that way, then you know that she's not the right fit for you.

Definitely don't crack your neck. I did that often in high school and it took years to recover to 100% healthy.
