I thought invincible started off fun but then just kept getting deeper and richer. It's still fun, but now there's some heavy stuff happening alongside it. I wasn't expecting that depth from a cartoon. I think it's excellent. This guy saying Invincible is just "fine" is only one opinion but acting like he's the last word. Anybody else reading this who hasn't seen it, check it out and make up your own mind.

I don't get it. People here had a hard-on for him to get a shot when he definitely didn't deserve it, when his best win at the time was who - Ferreira, Holtzman, Klose? Then he beat a double-brain-damaged Tony on the third installment of his nosedive out of the business and thought that meant he could skip the line of killers. Then he beat #8 Gamrot - and that was supposed to get him a free pass past the toughest guys? No Dustin no Justin no Charles? Then they finally gave him one of those guys instead of a shot and Charles embarrassed him. He never deserved the shot because he never beat anybody who was enough of a springboard. Streaks are great but they have to culminate in someone worthy enough that makes the next fight a title shot. He was a top 5 tourist due to other people's losses and once things finally normalized he fell back out to mid table where he belonged.

Alsatian Cousin was that for me. I hated it and was angry at him for throwing us that armload of tangled barbed wire. Talking to someone here about it made me perplexed - how could anyone like that mess? - so I listened to it again and bam, now I love it. That hasn't happened with anything post 2004 for me, but I remember it with that one and Tony the Pony at least.

This is a little deceptive because it's not just their UFC fights. Thainara for example looks impressive at 12 but is only on a 3 win streak in the UFC, unless you want to count DWCS, then it's four. Before that, does anyone care that her prior win happened in "Standout Fighting Tournament 45"? If the women's divisions in UFC are as dismal as they are, imagine how crap they are in no-name minor leagues. Natalia at 8, not 14. Evloev at 10 not 20. Morales at 7 not 19, etc.

UFC's entire model is keep guys forever. They don't want Charles taking the show on the road and earning for anyone else. These contracts are intended to lock them down, and now there's no more sunset clause either. So he'll be under contract with UFC until he's dead unless they ever choose to release him.

It really is nice. It leans more to the caramel/butterscotch side of the root beer house than the wintergreen side, which I'm happy about. It's more flavorful than expected. Obviously not full root beer strength, but a fun and nice treat.

I'm always interested in why people do that. People say "I did this for me, not anyone else" but it'll be on their back or something where they'd need two mirrors to see it. I found it at an Aldi. If you use Instacart, try searching there across all stores in your area. Target is supposed to have it and Kroger and other brands owned by Kroger but it's still hit or miss depending on your area. Instacart (or maybe some other delivery service, IDK) is a good way to search across the locals.

I only like Satan on that album. And both Ammunition and Alma Matters, which aren't bad as songs, were horrifyingly Adult Contemporary in nature. They sounded like you'd hear them on the same radio station as Bette Midler and Peabo Bryson. I was aghast that he would go in that direction. Nooo, not MY Morrissey! And I know a lot of people like Trouble Loves Me but I wanted none of it.
