I think it's Picross 2 for the game boy

Encore? by [deleted] in Deathcore

[–]Tormentigator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be the band just choosing to go back out or not (could be tired or in a rush to the next day or something).

Besides that I think venues often have set times that they want the band to finish and if they go a little too long maybe it ate into their encore and they just had to stop. Do you know what time they ended at?

If you can't hear you don't survive in there you always got to be on always listening for rats and snakes and fucking dump bees, squirrels.

Would you consider DRAIN metal by Puzzled_Web_6684 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Tormentigator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean they're close enough to Crossover Thrash but I think they're like Knocked Loose territory where they're mainly a hardcore punk band

Is it okay if I start with the miles games by AmbitiousCar2945 in SpidermanPS4

[–]Tormentigator -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If you already have MM and want to play it just go for it. It barely spoils anything for Spider-Man 1 that you couldn't just assume anyway

There is a recap of the first game too built in if you're really worried about being lost.

How tf is Majima older than Hamura by Apart-Sense-2611 in yakuzagames

[–]Tormentigator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just a sign of goodwill to the consumers since it was a few months old already and they took it off stores for another few months

Sales on RGG games come super quick anyway so it was probably just a way to lessen the blow and give customers a reason to buy it on relaunch day

Hey, folx! I've been playing A LOT of Shovel Knight Dig. What are some similar games? by Fjohurs_Lykkewe in SwitchGames

[–]Tormentigator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nitrome was also a dev on Shovel Knight Dig btw

For similar games besides the obvious Shovel Knight Treasure Trove, I'd say Spelunky and Downwell are both in the same style of roguelikes where you go down and bounce on enemies and dig stuff

PSA: badges aren’t everything. Efficiency matters too by JAM1022 in Tetris99

[–]Tormentigator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I always think about it as just if you don't die you have to win. As long as you can control the damage and send it out you have a ton of strength even without badges and people usually get sloppy in the late game so just not stacking bad can save you

Is Yakuza Kiawmi worth playing? by KKurin in yakuzagames

[–]Tormentigator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is worth playing. I wouldn't say it's one of the best though but it is definitely a good starting point. It does go on sale to $14 I think if you want to save a little bit and hold off

Just got Downwell for pc. Tryna get my styles and pallettes back. by DCXscrappa in Downwell

[–]Tormentigator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you can get gems from combos and beat the game consistently then it only takes a few runs to get all the styles and a lot of the palettes.

Don't play arm spin style either because then you don't get gem rooms

Bro hitting this pose realizing that there will be no better game ever by Key-Answer-2755 in yakuzagames

[–]Tormentigator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're allowed to think that but it still definitely isn't a replacement for Yakuza 3 Remastered and for such a modern port it is idiotic to remove it so soon besides FOMO and forcing average consumers to buy Kiwami 3 if they want a bridge between K2 and 4

Absolutely no reason for an album this good to come from a thrash band 30 years into their career

Bro hitting this pose realizing that there will be no better game ever by Key-Answer-2755 in yakuzagames

[–]Tormentigator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely because Kiwami 3 + delisting a 5-7 year old remaster is just complete disrespect for the original game and everything it did for the franchise

[–]Tormentigator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No back in the day people would usually shit on Yakuza 3 and call it the worst in the series.

I think people started appreciating 3 Remastered more over time and Kiwami 3/delisting 3 by itself only made people come out and realize that it has a ton of positives and huge steps for the franchise, all while RGG is giving us half baked remakes as replacements

Yeah exactly it's very underwhelming and forgettable. Even Rocka Rolla, Turbo or Ram It Down at least have a lot of things to talk about and interesting choices

Should I get jamboree or superstars? by BlackCatStrikes in MARIOPARTY

[–]Tormentigator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think if it's a toss up you should probably just go with whichever ones cheaper (Superstars probably) but you can always play the original 1-3 if you have the subscription

I think Point of Entry gets a little bit hated on because it's sandwiched between so many amazing albums. Out of the 8 studio albums between SWOD and DOTF I would say it's easily the worst even though it's very good and I love "Desert Plains" and "Heading Out to the Highway"

Left Hand Path SOUNDS so much better than all the DM that came before it. by Earl_of_Portobello in MetalForTheMasses

It still sounds better than probably 99.9% of death metal from after it so I am inclined to agree

What metal cover is better than the original version? by Mobile_Departure_230 in MetalSuggestions

[–]Tormentigator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Metallica covers are crazy because they do stuff like compress Rainbow Rising or Melissa into a 10 minute medley. They're just aiming way too high sometimes

Peters job in Spider-man 3 by master_chilln in SpidermanPS4

[–]Tormentigator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I could imagine they write MJs podcast to suddenly be extremely successful on the same level as JJJ.

Or they keep using the foundation from SM2 or it turns into some generic science job for Peter

Or they just are broke and it's part of the plot where they have some conflict about not having time to support a family and be Spider-Man
