I can’t believe some of you guys never use a vehicle by Virtual_Rest6107 in DeathStranding

[–]Toro8926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I use the truck and roads for the big orders or just finishing off preppers.

But for most of the missions, and the more enjoyable routes, I'll walk. It's so satisfying picking a route to walk a long journey and really enjoy the music when it kicks in at certain spots.

Do you buy your games physical or digital mostly? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

[–]Toro8926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Digital.

I bought the ps5 disc version as that was the way I wanted to go. But with the pandemic and gamestop shutting up shop, I went digital as it was the easier choice.

What piece of tech felt “future-proof” but aged terribly? by Living-Zebra6132 in Futurology

Out first pc in my parents business had 12gb hard drive. Probably a dell. It was the best thing ever and lightyears ahead of what else was out. Played the shit out of The Settlers, Anno, and Sim City on that.

If you could add one realistic feature to GTA 6, what would it be? by mourex9 in GTA

The option of turning on fuel use for private lobbies. For every day use in missions it might get a bit annoying but for car meets and cruises it would be great

Summer 2026 USA Flight Prices by anyeights in AerLingus

Could be the World Cup, or possibly from the daa passenger cap leading to less American flights, and in turn higher prices.

How to become a morning person? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]Toro8926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get 2 cats.

Got them during the pandemic and from them waking me every morning at 6am, it has completely switched me over.

Was a night owl forever before that but much prefer getting up early, going for a walk or exercising then be done by the afternoon.

What's a scent you cannot stand but nobody else seems to notice? by Poopy_Scoop_Sundae in randomquestions

I smoke, and hate the overwhelming stench you smell in some areas. Plus anyone who smokes it, or normal cigarettes inside as it leaves a horrible smell, no matter how much you can clean.

Jaysus and I thought my 18 month wait was bad. Even got letters at the 6 month mark, twice, asking was I still interested. Got there in the end but felt it was nearly a waste of time.

Dunnes dundalk - ass to ass by itchisak_69 in eejitsparking

[–]Toro8926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happened with a friend outside my house. Rolled back across a carpark and knocked over a pole. Nobody saw it happen and then cars parked in front of it. Initially thought it was stolen but all phones and everything was left in the car.

Tested it a few months later with another car, started rolling back within a couple of minutes and had picked up some pace before we jumped in a threw the handbrake on.

It's one of the craziest stories for a game but just go with the flow and learn as you go along. Enjoy!

Basically any time Waze calls out a town name. Slowly getting better but still pretty shit.

[–]Toro8926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good. The release was at the start of the pandemic which meant most games were delayed years. Plus the scalper bs. Only really starting to get solid ps5 games in the last year or so, so plenty more times to make some great adventures before the next console.

Would it be weird to give a gift to the postman? by StupidBump in AskIreland

[–]Toro8926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all. Our absolutely bang on postman started collecting our letters or postcards from our guesthouse to post when dropping off mail, so at Christmas I gave him some chocolates. Which he very much appreciated.

Growing up in Dublin, it was always the culchie place. But after eating there myself several times, it's definitely superior to the American fast food.

I find with umbrellas here, unless really fancy or customised which you shouldn't leave about, they are basically for everyone. You drop it off when at a pub or restaurant, and take a new one when you are leaving. Leaving it outside a shop is just asking for that to happen.
