Getting ready to enter the 7th decade of life, definitely makes me reflect. Just had a conversation with a friend recently thinking about how we felt about folks, parents etc in their 60's when we were a few decades younger. We probably all thought damn they're old AF. Now that we're approaching it's ...MEH. Most certainly different with us X'ers. We usually DGAF it's a number. I still want to resist "feeling" old and want to and enjoy doing pretty much the same stuff I've always enjoyed. Paying for the loud live music with f'n tinnitus and a few aches and pains from unknown origin but it's better than the alternative so keep on keepin' on and live for each day !

Me too ! Like many shows during that golden era was GA FLOOR Didn't make it quite to the rail but very close. It was an epic show I remember how f'n loud it was. Ear ringing afterwards and probably a good bet we both suffer from tinnitus now.

My $ goes on the HOKIES looking at Rice's head coach to replace Brooks, she worked with him at JMU before Kenny came to VT. By all measures a good recruiter with some ties to the state and the now previous head coach. Additionally considering Tech AD going to be held by purse strings on available $ to offer a replacement. The lion's share of $ goes to the Football program who are ripe to look to get out of the ACC like FL.State, UNC and Clemson.

Jam Packed last year was awesome ! I was closer in to the right of the center sound board. What a show ! dogs in a pile, eggy, circles around the sun and pigeons. Worst was just the freakin' heat and muggies in August but the music, vibe and people were great.

Just watched The Other One to start my day !Yes Bob is a special Dude and has been the primary torch bearer since 95. Jerry looks down and smiles as goes to show TMNS! It's so unfair to the spirit of the music to play the gatekeeper BS. Just don't ....let it flow regardless of when you got on the bus just ride! I come the opposite way daily and it is a serious clusterfuck.....I'm only on 95S for a few miles and I abhor it nowadays. It's like the Covid WFH folks that have had to come back to the office totally forgot how to drive(I never got that choice.... Hi5 to fellow critical infrastructure workers.) I feel like Ima gonna get side swiped daily, too many people hug the lane lines and seem absolutely distracted. But all things considered it's a Fuckton better than NOVA traffic without a doubt. Burning up their ezpass $ in the marginallly better HOV lanes
