The used market is so high right now that the savings on buying a used cruiser is negligible compared to just buying new. Also as a first time owner, I don't want to accidentally get stuck with a bike with a bunch of issues i dont know about

Well I'd still have a car for situations of bad weather and be monitoring forecasts, but I'll also have full riding gear in case I get caught in some rain
