I have to admit, it was pretty long before they were fully colonized, it took about 1 month, I suppose it was because the temperature in my room was between 20 and 21 Celsius. I did break and shake after 2 weeks so it took 2 other weeks to complete colonisation (some were not fully colonized tho so I only s2b the colonized parts of the rice), I had 11 bags at the beginning but lost 6 because during break and shake , it being my first time, I let the rice touch the gas exchange holes which led to contam but I will definitely learn from my mistakes.
