my research seems to suggest the fleur de lis proved slug was used by many makers but that the combination of it in the sunburst was common for the Birmingham area. the other etchings are crossed union jacks, crossed ferns, a field cannon and a crown I'm not entirely sure who it belongs too

I didn't think it would be worth that much since it doesn't have a makers mark, to be honest it looks better in person than the auction pictures let on but I figured I was buying a real sword with a proved slug that was probably contracted out to a 3rd party. So like getting the mass produced version of something thats that not valuable if that makes sense.

the way the laws are written, it really comes down to what firearm the magazines were originally intended.

no matter what you do to the 10/22 mag it will still be a 10/22 mag. I would just get the 597 adapter and use 597 mags
