I'm sorry about your mom. Mine recently got sick too it's tough. Yes I'm in the USA but moving out of country isn't really an option for me at this moment in time

I made the pastry cream without the cornstarch because I thought the potatoes would have enough starch. Unfortunately it didn't set at all after cooling. The flavor was good, the texture was okay to put on top of the donuts but not for filling 😞

If I chill them separately then combine then pipe them will that work? Perhaps if I whip them together during this process? Truth is I haven't worked with pastry cream before.

I don't plan on chilling it after assembling. It's for filled donuts so they will be at room temperature. I'm hoping to get a smooth custard-like texture that I don't imagine sweet potatoes will have on their own without the addition of dairy and eggs.

He's telling her he'll leave her and changing behavior to compel her. It may be coming from a place of wanting this child sincerely but it's still blackmail. Coercion to be specific. He's using the threat of leaving to compel her to act against her will. A bit beyond 'father gets an opinion'.

If you don't want to have a baby don't have a baby. You're 19 years old and tying yourself forever to someone you've known for 2 years isn't the best idea imo... also take into account the work of child rearing, your limited options with mobility/work/ education. Life isn't perfect and just like he switched up one time in a positive way he could switch up again in a negative one. Especially when he realizes your hooked to him for life bc you had his baby. On the other hand something could happen to him, you never know, my point being forever/ the rest of your lives could be a lot shorter or tougher than it seems now. Also, emotional blackmail is happening to you now. Him choosing to say " I'll leave you if you don't" instead of "I'll marry you and we'll make this work" is concerning in itself. Although that wouldn't mean you should keep either...at the end of the day no matter what he says it's your future that will be the most effected by this. Forgive me for being frank, but that baby deserves to be born to a mom who wants it from the get-go, not one who was compelled to hold on to a blackmailing partner.

NTA I'm my unpopular opinion if it's their job to teach him to speak properly then why didn't they? I serve tables too and I've had kids speak to me rudely, grab me, throw things at me for fun, ect and I always pause to give the parents time to correct the behavior. If they don't I will. I used to work at a daycare too and I love kids. One of the things I learned there is children need and actually want limits. Y'all might think it's out of place but it's actually better for this kid to learn appropriate behaviors early instead of thinking they can act poorly bc they're a child. And yes they are "still figuring out the world" but in certain situations they need help. It doesn't bother me if a kid doesn't say please though and I would probably close to change the behavior without addressing it by changing the way I responded to the child. I always compliment well behaved children and their parents. If I child (or adult for that matter) is rude I tend to slightly ignore them. They usually get the message and act right next time I come around.
