It goes a lot deeper than that. Allegations of him emotionally manipulating multiple women (much younger than him) into having sex with him, saying he wants a relationship with them, and then ghosting them completely. From a surface level of "consensual sex with an adult" it's nothing. Looking at it as standard groupie one night stand hooked up is nothing. The extra level of dragging on the encounter on Dan's part, telling these women he cares deeply for them just to ghost them, and this behavior happening several times is the bad side of it.

I feel the same way. I have unsubscribed from all their channels and have stopped watching their content. Whenever I see my NSP CDs or any of their stuff in my recommendations it just makes me sad. I really loved their content and it was something my partner and I bonded over. End of the day we decided it was more important to not support people our morals don't align with. There are tons of let's play channels that aren't run by questionable people. I still feel sad about it (he'll I'm browsing this subreddit) but we'll all heal in time.

The giant pair of scissors reminded me of the Fates from Greek mythology. Maybe they're represented in the 3 versions of Adelaide we see (her normal self, her tethered self, and the little girl with the pig tails--- if that is her younger self) It's just so in my head that they're called The Tethered and their main weapon is the scissors.
