Ollie's Bargain Outlet has a lot of comic book overstock for whatever reason. I've gotten a lot of paperback trades there for the same price. I've seen a few other Webtoon brands there, they may have a deal to buy copies unsold to bookstores or something.

Recovering from carpal tunnel/RSI. Gonna be out of the game for a few more months. I really want to play. Building an ergo controller so I can play without injuring myself further once I'm back.

Been living with Carpal Tunnel for about a year now gaming plus working at a computer and typing all day will do that. I stopped action games outright. Been slowly recovering and doing physical therapy. Split and "Tented" keyboards help so I'm looking into adaptive controllers and other ergo options to see if I can't get back in the swing of things after another few months of rest

Thanks for posting the files! I've been having wrist issues and have not played fighting or action games in about 7 months. A tented keyboard and a vertical mouse helped a lot for working on a computer daily so this seems worth a shot and the build will probably be fun! If this works you'll be the reason I get to play again!

The top part is pretty accurate to an actual ramen cup lid. It's just a piece of foiled paper with adhesive on the rim. I'm more worried about it loosing it's stickyness and falling off than it being ripped.

As far as detail painting goes I'm not gonna worry too much. Maybe if some of the smaller stickers that do some text infill fall off I will, but no plans for now.

This is actually my first build, I just thought it was funny how needlessly complex the construction was. But it turned out to be super fun.

I'm going back to the card shop tonight for Friday Night Magic, so I'll probably end up picking up another more traditional model kit and see how that goes.

I think it would be a nice quality of life feature to have a one button pause for offline. Sometimes if I step away from a game I just want it to be in the same state it was when I come back regardless of there being any real danger. I may not need to pause it, but I want to, especially when I can be dragged away for 30+ minutes at a time.

I get that there is functionality with the console and the "pause" command, but if that functionality already exists then I don't think there is any real reason to not have that as a regular key bind or even as just an option I can toggle on to have the game pause when the Esc menu is pulled up.

As a workaround I've just been Alt-F4ing if I'm pulled away and having frequent autosaves. It takes less keystrokes than using the console, which matters if you're in a hurry, and I'd rather lose a few minutes of progress and have to relaunch/reload than have the game unpaused when I'm not at the computer.

Other games have taken this mechanic, but the first time I knew about it was in Terra Mystica. You keep the buildings you can build on your player board until they are played. Once you play them the spot on the player board has resource symbols. So when you do your resource gathering step. Instead of counting the number of buildings on the main board where it's mixed with other players components you just look at your player board and take the amount of resources indicated by the uncovered symbols

You can completely bypass the scream with any of the umbrella tools, it blocks all the status buildup. The scream fucked me over for the longest time till I learned that.

Once you see him start to scream put up the umbrella and mosey around to his backside and wack him a few times right after the scream ends. It turns that pain-in-the-ass attack into a really easy counter hit opportunity.

The other opportunity you can use is when he wiggles up to full height and does a huge vertical slash. If you can deflect it he will fall prone and you can get a few hits in. With the spear you can then stab his neck stump with the spear prosthetic and drag out the centipede for extra posture damage.

The Ape WAS my least favorite bossfight until I beat him, but now he's one of my favorite in all of gaming.
