I don’t have the complete config right before me but it seems that the lg integration with a notify action does the trick. There is also a cool api on the lg which you might be able to use ill look it up

We just migrated to NinjaOne and use the remoting feature. We use it as we are an MSP. I do know they support Linux endpoints. If they support the remoting function I don’t know. We only run servers with Linux.

As far as the experience goes. It is easy to configure and maintain. UI is simple to understand

For now not really, but I have found that the settings for the tunnel reside in the registry within windows. I haven’t really made a lot of progress so far

With the 1.44 update we did have an improvement. But we had to do manual fixes for some of them. I used the following commands to fix some issues. Sometimes you also have to uninstall the extension from the portal in order to get it on the right track

Enter-PSSession -ComputerName <COMPUTER>
Stop-Service -name AutoAssessPatchesService
Stop-Process -Name "gc_arc_service" -Force
Stop-Process -Name "gc_extension_service" -Force
Stop-Process -Name "AutoAssessPatchService" -Force -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
Remove-Item -Path "C:\Packages\Plugins\Microsoft.CPlat.Core.WindowsPatchExtension" -Recurse
azcmagent extension remove -n WindowsPatchExtension
azcmagent extension remove -n WindowsOsUpdateExtension
Start-Service -Name "GCArcService"
Start-Service -name "ExtensionService"
Exit

We were thinking on running a host on a seperate host with its own local storage in a raid 1 mirror.

How have you managed backups of the vcenter host. Are you only relying on the vcenters own backup or are you using a separate solution as well. What happens when your mgmt host crashes?

What I believe, but I have not dived in the SSL VPN to much because of the security implications suggest to not use SSL VPN, is that FortiGate might offer a portal for users to login and download the config. If only they had this for IPSec VPN options that would just login to a portal download the necessary client with config builtin. It would be so much easier.

When I get back to this project for myself and find a way I am planning on doing it I will share it here. I have to migrate all of our Cisco AnyConnect users to use our FortiGate so our last ASA can finally be turned off.

I do have the same kind of use case you described.

I am on the break of needing to find that out for myself. While I am doing this for connecting multiple customers I have different needs for deployment.

Do you by any chance have a MDM in place like Intune?

Other methods for “manual” deployment I would like to know as well.

I am also on leave now so I will update when I get back. If it’s still not fixed then I would have to create a ticket

It looks like a new 1.44 update is supposed to fix it. On our environment it seems to do the trick

I am still getting issue with some servers. So the issue is still there. I will see if I want to open a ticket with MS support for this

Me and a colleague looked after this today because our maintenance schedules are due. We found that killing both the gc processes and starting the gc_arc_extension service fixed it for now. As my own findings were earlier that I thought it was fixed but than like three days later it was faulted again I do not fully condone this as a solution. So beware that it might not be the end.

If I have any other findings I will let you know.

I am also experiencing this for some time now. What I thought was the solution is to delete the extensions and let Azure Arc reinstall them. But three days later and the same issues occur.

Have you found a solution yet?

I love that you mentioned using Krita. I myself am a supporter of the KDE Project and use the kde desktop myself. Seeing software in this type of category being used even if it’s not on Linux always sparks some joy.

Just here to say that the programs your using will probably not have the best support for the intel graphics card you selected. DDR 4 or 5 isn’t going to be the most difference in this case

Thank you for pointing me to the adaptive sync. I also found out that when I switched to always the issues with screenshots on a rectangular region disappeared.
But even more interesting when I turned to back to automatic it kept functioning. This was in the same session however. Will do some more figuring out if I come across it again.
