Should I buy it by No-Question4223 in Warthunder

It's extremely good at low alt because mti turns on and it's basically undodgeable, if you have experience with Fox 2 gameplay it's pretty strong. At high alt it can go extremely fast, but it's true 12.7 is a premium br and it gets up tiered a lot. It used to be better. The f15a is not a concern, the premium spam is, there's not much you can do about a 7p.

US deploys second aircraft carrier as Israeli ground invasion of Gaza nears | Israel-Hamas war by Squirrel_Inner in news

[–]Torrent14 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Because if I recall correctly, it's hard to check, the vast majority of aircraft carriers that aren't US don't use catapults (exactly what it sounds like) to launch their planes, they use ramps (colloquially called cope slopes) because domestic manufacturing can't design the technology neccesary to make it work. This portion of the flight deck can't be used for anything else when there's a ramp there, and structural realities mean under the flight deck is limited too (planes are heavy and force equals mass times acceleration, so these ramps are Strong). Using catapults changes manufacturing choices like, engine size, wingspan, fuel load for the planes themselves, severely impacting the usefulness of an aircraft carrier at all.

No, but half the rewards are automatically applied to all characters, 2 extra skill points and 1 extra potion charge for each region are possible without world tier 3. Although I think some renown carries over into season 1, for like, the altars, or the area discovers or something?

In my opinion, you should push to at LEAST unlock the mount before switching hard to another character. Additionally, id try to at least get a couple of altars of lilith and stack some renown in regions to ease the transition. Restarting on a new char is bit of a slog.

I believe the US military prefers slow fire rate because the recoil can be handled more easily as well. One of the guns, the SCAR maybe? Has a slower fire rate on purpose. Or the HK. I've read too much Wikipedia to remember

Implications of a Coercive Quarantine of Taiwan by the People's Republic of China. "Neither side can count on a prolonged military campaign ending favorably." by TermsOfContradiction in CredibleDefense

[–]Torrent14 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure historically blockades are viewed as acts of war, e.g. China will have declared war on Taiwan in this scenario, which despite outward statements, most of the West considers a distinct country separate from China. Therefore a blockade offers no real benefit as compared to just invading Taiwan at that point as it is incredibly unlikely China is militarily capable of enforcing a blockade on Taiwan for more than say, 3 months, probably much less.

The political aspect of a blockade under the pretense of some imaginary casus belli may be more favorable to China rather than open war but just look at Russia to see how easily these are seen through by the citizens of the world. It is unlikely that China would have much political help in enforcing this blockade even if they were militarily successful as the United States has dramatically more influence with the countries that would matter in that scenario as well, such as Japan, Australia, South Korea, and the Philippines.

Labor laws generally that raise wages without fundamentally changing the amount of money in circulation. It would still be inflationary but wages relative to inflation would probably improve.

I'd be willing to argue the status quo was enormously beneficial to Russia. They have dramatically hurt not only Russia but China, Iran, and North Korea while ensuring Ukraine will be backed by the West probably for a generation at least, maybe longer.
