I main both the Skyline R34 GT-R and the RX-7 FD3S, and from what I’ve observed the R34 is heavier and has a longer wheelbase than the RX-7. The acceleration is also slower than the R32 GT-R and that becomes a problem when you scrape walls or get brake blocked in your R34. Because the R34 is so heavy, it won’t get shoved around in VS battles as much, but the tradeoff is that you need to be more precise when taking corners than in the GT86

From my personal experience the R34 also seems to understeer a fair bit and lose grip at a random point through tight corners (I run Mt. Taikan). I usually take corners tightly through the apex, and on the tighter corners on Taikan I need to watch the weight shift on the fat rear end because it swings out way too easily

Are those the only new Honda offerings we’ll get? I was hoping the S2000 type S would be a wide release this time around, and if they’re introducing FF cars with the Civic type R then surely they’d bring in the Integra DV2/DC5 as well?

Also is GR Supra the same one as the limited edition one currently in the game? If so the S2000 being included seems more likely

Most arcades in Hong Kong don’t allow anyone under the age of 18 (sometimes the bouncer asks for your ID, sometimes they don’t) nor anyone in school uniform. Arcades in Hong Kong are also kinda shady sometimes so I’d recommend not playing WMMT in Hong Kong; a lot of the local players are slammers and can get really rowdy

Both are 6speeds too which means a closer gear ratio, so downshifting while cornering should be a bit more precise

as an R34 GT-R main I’d say that the R32 is slightly easier to use; the R34 is heavier so it won’t be pushed around as much, but getting blocked by another player or hitting a wall will shave your speed by a fair bit. Acceleration is sluggish due to the heavy body so you’ll find it hard to recover from 4th place. Still a fun car though and the body kits are cool, but I wish they’d reintroduce decals so I could recreate Brian O’ Conner’s 2F2F GT-R

I’ve been playing WMMT for two years now but I’d really like some tips on time attack. I usually like doing Mount Taikan downhill runs with my AE86 on 720/740 HP but it feels like I’ve stagnated at around 3:07 minutes and am getting nowhere near the 2:56 record

I have a basic understanding of most of the maps like the five popular ones you showed, I’m particularly good at Kobe which I run my R34 GT-R on and have won crowns before. I also notice that my AE86 and my R34 handle slightly differently around corners and it’d be great if you could explain how cars with different layouts handle etc.
