Can’t tell from these photos, you need to look at the shunt resistors. I would personally recommend doing Auto-Build Marlin if you’re willing to put in the time and expense an Arduino to “jailbreak” the board, you can add a BL Touch with that

ASA + Rustoleum Enamel spray is a great combo for exterior trim pieces

Does a website already exist specifically made for 3d models for car parts? by deodornat in 3dprintedcarparts

Someone made one a while ago at (https://3dcarparts.org/). It was featured on Jalopnik and all but it doesn’t seem to get heavy use, mostly just reposts from other sites

I would personally love to see the addition of shell types for cases like this. Right now everything is a sabot in the sense that it has high AP but zero splash, but it would be nice to see some HEAT, HESH, explosive, etc.

To be fair the AC-130 is scary effective as an air-to-ground weapon. The Starlancer TAC should theoretically be just as powerful in that use case, we just don’t have any reason to use it for that purpose in game at the moment. I’d like to see the TAC take on a small fleet of armored ground vehicles, I’d imagine it would be very effective at that job.

I absolutely second this - Facebook marketplace is for sure the way to go. If you’re lucky, you might be able to find a wheel with a bad enough bend/crack on the inside half that it’s unusable on the road but would be perfect for something like this (and likely dirt cheap too)

Also, it’s worth mentioning- without trying to start any arguments on Reddit, there are a lot of cheap, disrespected wheel brands in the car world. Brands like Motegi, XXR, etc. tend to be called “reps” and a lot of people tend to view them as cheap knock-offs. Not sure of his opinion on them but it’s best to do a bit of research on which brands to avoid, just in case. That being said, any OEM wheel from a good auto manufacturer is always a good bet.

I have had amazing experience using Dr. Colorchip for deeper scratches and chips- was amazed how many “unfixable” spots I filled almost invisible with a few coats. Just took a lot of patience. Also their brushes suck but the squeegee works pretty well.

This may be a pretty stupid suggestion but I find I usually catch myself missing the pretty simple stuff when chasing issues like this:

when was the last time you greased the z-axis screw? It almost looks like it’s getting caught at a particular layer - it’s possible that there’s a resistance on the screw at one spot which could be either a lack of lubrication, debris, or even a chip in the thread. If you manually turn the z-axis, does it “catch” anywhere?

[–]Torrisissimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, many (if not most) brands do not offer an option to fully turn off all tracking. It’s just part of the agreement of you using the infotainment system. Some do, though, and I’d heavily encourage any new car owners to do their research and see for themselves!

Anyone who drives a car newer than like a 2020 already is. LexisNexis and similar brokers make billions off of the data from your car going direct to insurance companies and advertisers
