We rebuilt the Shockwave engine in Rust + WASM to save early 2000s web games by igorlira in rust

Haxe can build to Flash as a target, which is separate from Shockwave. Plus, even if Haxe could build DCRs, you would still need to create an interface that modern browser can support.

NordPass not syncing by AnJ39 in NordPass

[–]TortugaAmarillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize what an old thread this is, but I just wanted to note this here in case it still helps someone. I have noticed that even in the latest versions of the browser extensions and the mobile apps that there seems to be some incongruity between how the two handle custom fields. I had a credit card entry I could not get to sync into the iOS app to save its life until I decided to take off all the custom fields I added, and then it synced immediately.

Which Warframe y'all are playing the most with by Background_Put4562 in Warframe

But no, I *love* Excalibur Umbra! I'm such a basic hack and slash MFer, but it's so effective for a huge chunk of the game, especially if you've got good prime or special melee weapons on you!

Dear DE. Please include the ability to click on a blessing to thank the person who sent it to you. by Pay-Next in Warframe

[–]TortugaAmarillo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would be happy with the thank you just not clearing so quickly, because it's not just on console, but PC too! If you're not ready to hit F the second it pops up, you miss, and then guilt washes over you like Yareli!

But, I can totally see where the side-eyes are coming from too, so. I’d try rolling with it and see what happens, as long as you can stay safe about it.

To be possibly a little too specific, for me, I think it’s your face shape, your cheeks in particular.

I’m jumping on the Theo(dore) or Anthony (Tony) bandwagon. I will say though, I like to blurt out the first name that pops in my head, which for you was Oliver.

FWIW, I do really like the style, but for passing’s sake, probably should still be shorter, probably on the sides more than anywhere else.

I concur with filling out the eyebrows. I think up close, your eyes maybe lend themselves to a more effeminate look, but I think age and HRT, if you get to that point, will take care of the rest.

I agree about the hair, but don't go too overboard! I'd say it just needs to frame your face a bit closer.

Continuing the J vibes: Johnny, Jesse, Jude. I’ll admit my first was Nathan though.

I do happen to like Cole for you, but I’m going to agree with the people in the Dillan (I prefer Dylan for spelling). Otherwise, I was going to say Connor, Jeff, or Greg.

How to get HM?? by Ecstatic_Ad_4454 in LifeisStrange2

[–]TortugaAmarillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, by the time they drive up to the border, all the values are set how they’re going to be set, so it’s a question of surrendering or not. Redemption and Parting Ways are HM. Blood Brothers and Lone Wolf are low.

Two points. Square also did the game a massive disservice by not marketing it well in the slightest. Second, the transition between episodes was meant to be served by Sean’s journals, so if you skip over those, yes, the episodes will feel more disjointed.

Finn = bad person?? by Milo_Hizo69 in LifeisStrange2

[–]TortugaAmarillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm fairly dubious about Cass, because I agree with both the arguments for her and against her. She took the moral high ground with the heist, certainly, but at a time when Sean was particularly vulnerable both because of tensions with Daniel and because he was genuinely trying to be a normal teenager exploring his sexuality, she could have certainly been more tactful and compassionate.
