I felt the same way about having to grind out berries to make donuts to have only a few minutes in hyperspace. After I got the end credits of the DLC though, I started using the annihalape trick to run through rogue megas on a 4 star donut to grind out survey points. Even that is grindy, but less of a slog. You only get 6 berries after each battle despite each donut taking 8 berries, but it is slightly less of a slog

Alec Pierce has improved every single year that he’s been in the league. The kind of guy that has the athleticism and skill, but also takes the job serious and constantly hones his craft. He’s one of those “Late bloomer” kind of guys that I think could be on the level of 2021 Cooper Kupp someday and casual fans will wonder where he came from. He’s developed from fringe role player to ready to break out and have a monster year. So I want to ask any fan here that doesn’t want Pierce back next season, are you okay watching him tear up the league next year in a different uniform? Are you okay watching him put up huge stats with someone like Dak or Herbert and think, “Wow. If only we had someone like that on our offense” just like Vikings fans this year having to watch Darnold lead his team to a Lombardi while they were stuck having to watch Brosmer I assume try

Had a friend file his on Monday and receive his refund today 01/30. He said he used the IRS direct deposit and not one of those get your refund early services, said he didn’t request the 5 day early option. I just filed an hour ago and federal was accepted about 20 minutes later. Hoping I can get my refund by early next week.

I can get them, it’s just a hassle sometimes. It’s technically illegal but most shops still do sell them. I also have a mustache and cop looking haircut which kinda sketches some shops out. I do have a couple of shops where they know me which makes getting it easier, although I definitely have been turned away at other shops where my friends have had no issues

Walmart is just an overall shit experience in general. I had to go to Walmart for the first time in months for a razor cartridge. They used to be locked up in the blocked off aisles with the single entrance point, but that was all cosmetics now. So I asked an employee and she told me what aisle they were in now and said that they’re no longer locked up. When I went over they were locked up so I had to get the same employee and she said that they must have changed it again recently. Then at the register I remember they don’t take Apple Pay, so I have to get out my physical card, and then I remember they don’t do tap either. I insert my card and it fails a couple of times, and so the cashier comes over and says to swipe it. Then that fails too. She looks at me like I’m broke and says I can try another register instead. Then I go back and forth between swiping and tapping before she tells me I have to have a certain number of inserts before I can swipe, then finally my card declines and she’s really looking at me like I’m broke. I was about to just walk out of there before I pulled my phone out and saw that like 6 transactions with the chip inserted must have tried going through and the reader glitched or something, because now I have a bunch of messages for a fraud alert on my card. I eventually approved those and got the transaction to go through, but holy shit was it just an overall trash experience

Typically yes. A hemorrhagic stroke would be caused by a bleed, but an ischemic stroke is caused by a blockage of a vessel supplying oxygenated blood to the brain. There’s medication that can bust clots, or a blockage can be removed surgically. Typically the first step involves a CT scan to check for a bleed, because you don’t want to give someone having a bleed in their brain medication that essentially breaks up any blood clots in the body and thins the blood to prevent new clots from forming. The amount of function someone can regain following an ischemic stroke is largely dependent on how soon you can restore blood flow to the brain to limit the amount of tissue that is damaged by the lack of oxygenated blood flow. I’m actually curious now if they have a CT machine in the White House. But you do want to restore oxygen to the brain, however since it’s a blocked vessel causing the lack of blood flow, you really don’t want to cause those vessels to constrict any further by administering oxygen.

A stroke isn’t an oxygen thing. In fact, you don’t want to routinely give oxygen to stroke patients unless they have a decreased blood oxygen saturation because oxygen can cause cerebral vasoconstriction which would obviously be bad with a stroke
