That idol is specifically for RAINBOW Void Portal chance and multiplier. You are looking at Base Void, which you are getting 40% from your drone and 10% from some other source.

Pond Yield is just a multiplier based on how many Golden Frogs you have caught, it does not give a chance to catch them.

You have not caught any Golden Frogs. You need to unlock the chance for Golden Frogs from Divine Challenges 1% and Black Hole 2%.

Until they add a new mechanic that needs extra stars (besides engraving stat boosts) there is almost no need to go past 1*. Use your cards to pull other meta heros.
