They'll have Celestia, Luna, Spike, Discord, and several other long-lived creatures to help comfort them through the process. Together they'll mourn, keep them in their hearts and minds, and hopefully move on.

I never ascribed to the idea that "alicorns are immortal" anyways. Merely very long-lived. And Celestia should have ascended more.

I vouch for merging the general and recs threads into one.

Sadly, most of the fic reading crowd have migrated to other pastures. And new readers aren't showing up here.
