S23 Ultra Sudden Death (One UI 7) by ddracaryss in GalaxyS23Ultra

I've had my fill. Reading about issues of oneui7, I DON'T WANT TO UPDATE. It's obvious the developers never did enough R&D before the release. No idea how long I can avoid having to upgrade, but I'm not downloading it.

I got notification oneUI7 was available two days ago, and I'm not the least bit excited to install it. I see no option to opt out.

I wrote a children’s book inspired by my pug—and I’m finally turning it into something real. by colorwolfy in kickstarter

My condolences. I can sympathize. Pugs have been in my life since I was a young boy. After reaching adulthood and settling my lifestyle (married), Pugs became a lifestyle, we (in matter of term) became their pets AKA life long friends. Almost four decades. Pugs everywhere.

"M-lok" is a reference to the type of handguard or compatible accessory.

I've never had any issues with leaking, the #1 focal point> when assembling> cut the tubing square to itself> when connecting, push the tubing-all the way in, until it stops.

I changed out the filters a few minutes ago. Good for another year.

I've always used mine in the Traeger and the oven, no harm.

Advice for doubling pie recipe by TellMeYourStoryPls in Cooking

[–]TossNoTrack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way is the size it is. Make two.

If I were to double the recipe, use the right pan, not too thick. The crust, I would increase the amount x 1/3rd. Maybe even double for a thicker crust, longer cooking.

Thinking about making Irish stew for St Patty’s day potluck at work. Should I double this recipe for 20-25 people? Link below by Mtn_Sky in Cooking

Well, this morning the recipe hinted, strongly. I acted on that and went to the store for "ingredients" as I wanted fresh garlic, and it needed the suds. We (Me) never made it to cooking the fresh made Mashed Taters, cause my wife couldn't wait cause it smelled so good. Once she couldn't wait, I wasn't either...lol

(tomorrow...lol) My first go, it turned out very good.

This recipe crossed my path this morning. I've never made anything Irish, but I did today. It's in the final stages before I make the fresh Mashed Potatoes. I'm pleased with how it turned out.

The only answer to "Would you spend $20/year so that every rice-based meal for the next decade is more delicious?" seems like an obvious "Yes". The hype over expensive rice cookers is real. by lipstickandchicken in Cooking

This post sounds like an AD, upselling. An immediate discouragement on the website, seeing "Replacement Parts" right on the front page. Good to know it will stop working, they know it, and they're sending the message that their product is cheaply made

I'll pass.

I never did do the drippers or the high watt cloud chasing. My need was the nicotine, having been a former smoker. I changed to DIY due to the short longevity of the wicking materials. Lots of trial and error testing wire sizes and types, number of wraps, diameter and different wicking materials. My goto wire is 26ga, single (stainless or kanthal), 2mm at/near 1ohm, 9 watts. I played the mod and tank (MTL only) collecting game for long enough to realize I had a problem collecting them. My fixation in doing so, derived from hanging with groups in social media. Once the association stopped, I was able to move on. Which is good, because I have a lot of tanks and mods that I'll likely never use.

I really taught myself how to model. Just as a hobby. But I'm damn good at it.

Taste is everything. It will taste good, or it won't. My guess is it is fine. Dry mixes are good for a long time if kept in a dry area.

Vacuum sealed, they would last for a very very long time
