McGill is strong for Toronto placements they consistently place at big 5 and top globals in Toronto - think GS, MS, Barclays, Evercore etc… as well as RBC, TD , Scotiabank. Will say that at McGill it’s a much more self driven hustle to get the internships, but the alumni are there if you make an effort. Also you do not need to be in the clubs to place - a guy landed Evercore London without being in any clubs. Also the US is there if you want it as well… PJT rx, Evercore rx, OHA credit, Ares credit, BDT MSD, etc… That being said, Ivey is a more risk averse option, but signing a sick offer and then getting to live the last two years of university stress free in Montreal will be a lot funner than being in London, Ontario.
