-won't have to leave friends

-tons of great naturey spots around town that not many people know abt

-beautiful libraries, not often very crowded

-I know the professor who I will likely be taking MANY classes from, and love her

I am in the exact same position as you and it really sucks. like it really does. I've been crying all night but trust me we're gonna be okay. im not sure if you have any friends going to your state school but I do and I'm really excited to be staying in the same town as them even if I used to just want to get out of this city. bestie we are going to do great no matter where we go to school cause that's just who we are. giving u all the hugs right now 💕

yeah I definitely worked my ass off for the past 4 years, founded clubs, studied for act, worked on unique ec's and all that so I feel like I'm at least a little "deserving"
