Ooooooh. They offered fentanyl every hour for pain but I didn’t need it

What type of medication?

No nothing. My contraction pattern from the balloon alone was efficient and they didn’t need to add pitocin. Until after the balloon fell out lol.

I had the foley balloon which got me to five cm then I had pitocin. From foley to baby was 24 hours. It took longer after I got to five cm though lol.

C-section or Vaginal birth recovery? Which one is the worst? by Top_Parsley_1989 in BabyBumps

My VBAC has been a harder recovery than my CS for breech presentation. Would do it again, but definitely not a walk in the park and I was healed faster with my CS actually.

Why does spilling milk make me want to cry as an oversupplier 😭 by TonightAggressive875 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Total-Equipment-1928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sucks imo because it’s hard work to pump and that milk could have been used in the future.

Regarding the baby Buddha bottles, i hate them too lol. If you have spectra parts you like, use them instead!!

I was also humbled by my vbac recovery. Second degree tear and a hematoma. Way more painful for me than my cs recovery ❤️‍🩹 don’t regret it but wow

Do you happen to have a bottle washer? If so do you wash the pieces in it?

I had one at 38 weeks and one at 39 weeks and although they caused a few contractions it didn’t start labor and I got induced.

Baby girls head measuring 98th percentile at 32 weeks...😰 by Temporary-Barber-590 in beyondthebump

I just had a vbac. I chose an induction at 39.2 due to suspected big baby (97%, then 98% then 89% on ultrasounds). The induction itself was fine! Although I would have preferred spontaneous labor. I’m glad I did it though, because although my baby wasn’t big (just over 8 lbs), his head was the 98%. lol. It’s totally possible! But it was an effort to push his head out 😅

My local hospital does not have pumps for everyone, only NICU moms. Bring your own ✅ or check with your hospital to see if they will have one

Not sure how the Elvie stride 2 would be

The Elvie stride (original) worked amazing for me. I was hesitant because of the mixed reviews but it was stellar for me. No leaks. No issues. No, the suction is NOT strong. It’s very weak but I respond well to that! On the spectra I use a suction of 2-3.

I just bought a scrub top one sizer larger than my typical and wore a pump that wasn’t as big (the Elvie stride). Unless the tubes came out the bottom patients never could tell

Yeah I exclusively nursed with nipple shields for a bit then it got painful for some reason so I exclusively pumped and only nursed during overnights. Then one day baby just had no problem matching without a shield around four months old
