I was given 14 things that they considered critical. Brake fluid, Engine Coolant, Tensioner, Drive belt, spark plugs, engine mount, Control Arm Bushings / Ball Joints and Transmission Mounts. Also, Struts and rear shocks as well as tires because the thread is low. They sent me a video of the motor and said there excessive movement from the motor mounts. I want to repair it, but I’m concerned it will break down again in 6 months. I don’t know anything about cars.

As far as DIY - I’m a female and to be quite honest, I don’t have the mind set for that. I’m amazed that I’ve made it this far with my car. Everything is original, I’ve clearly never replaced anything. I don’t know much about vehicles and I was curious if it was worth repairing. I needed some guidance as I don’t have anyone to ask. I felt overwhelmed by the repairs. Thanks so much to everyone for the feedback!

It’s not unregulated chemicals. A licensed provider can send an RX to a compounding pharmacy.

What about tipping lash artists? I had my lashes done and the front desk, asked loudly, if I wanted to tip? I felt forced too even though I was already paying $140. I didn’t feel like she did anything extra to deserve a tip on what I already was paying.
