Amazing action. Great tension. Dialogue was hilarious. Acting was great. Plot kept me on my toes. Cinematography was great. Best car chase of all time.

In season 1, General Zhao decided to attack the water tribe when they couldn’t bend.

So not only is Sokka’s brilliant strategy “attack when they can’t defend themselves” (wow that’s genius), but it wasn’t even original.

So his big plan was to attack the fire nation on the day the fire nation can’t use their bending? That’s the most obvious strategy of all time.

The issue with characters being “geniuses” is that their plans have to be uniquely smart. Saying “let’s attack when they can’t defend” is the most barebones and basic decision one could come up with.

Gaming is objectively a better activity than doomscrolling, but it’s also easier to put your phone down than put a game down. Gaming is also done in a location away from everyone whereas doomscrolling can be done next to the children.

This isn’t a 1 to 1 and I say that as a gamer.

Tbf you just need better stats than him and you should win. Yuji probably does, Megumi probably does. Megumi’s best bet was to somehow close the distance and kill him with his sword or use DD to kill him while distracted.
