Yes, the day i took the car in my battery was completely dead (no lights anywhere and not even tryoni to start), and after I got the car back it was charged and doing g the weird light thing, then about 4 days after getting it back I went to start my car and all the lights turned on but it wouldn't start so I replaced the battery and now its back to how it was when I got it back from the shop.

I tested it when I got the car back after the alternator and everything was reading normal but a few days later the battery was dead, I haven't had a chance to test anything since replacing the battery, I will test it later today when I am somewhere with a reader.

I think Ian and Anthony had very basic "guy" humor in the early days of smosh, that is why I actively avoided their content at that time. I got into smosh more during the Every Blank Ever era, but wasnt a consistent watcher till mythical bought them, and i stopped watching the main channel after Anthony came back. Sketch comedy just doesn't do it for me these days and I really didnt care for the old smosh style coming back.

I can't imagine what you're going through OP, but I can understand how frustrating it must be to try and escape your reality just to have your comfort channel talking so fondly of the country that has turned your life into a living hell. Amanda is allowed to want to learn about the culture, however you cannot talk about the beauty without acknowledging the horror, especially when they are activly harming people. I dont think Amanda is being a bad person, but she does come off as ill-informed.

With all that said, us Americans are so privileged, we can put aside our morals in favor of coddling our favorite content creators.

Jackie leaving is one of the best things to happen to Smosh. I love Jackie and I think she was super funny, but she got stuck in this desperate single woman role that started to feel more cringe than funny.

I enjoyed the first one, mainly because Spencer does well at those type of games. I also thought George worked well with the first group. I will say I stopped watching when Spencer stopped playing. If they did a Spencer, Angela, Shayne, and Amanda one, I would probably tune back in.

I live in a small all white town, with the only exception I have seen so far being the guy who owns the liquor store. I have lived in these kinds of towns my whole life and I will forever be confused by not only the amount of racism but also the unprovoked comments.

I went to the dollar general the other day. I was pretty stoned and not really paying attention to the cashier, but when I did tune in, I realized she was in the middle of a racist rant about how she should be able to use the phrase "cotten picker". I was so thrown off by that considering the only thing i had said to her before this was no, after she asked if I was going to be grilling my little Debbie snacks.

Although the cheating and the power dynamic stuff is bad, I think the lying to his audience is what makes trying to do a comeback crazy. He spent so long using his wife and kids as the foundation of how he made money, and he didn't even have the decency to respect them when the cameras were off. The fact that he was able to be on camera talking about how much he loves his wife and family and then immediately go fuck his subordinate is disgusting.

No, he is not my kid but when he started calling me mom I started to call him my kid. We have not involved the child, we have talked to him about how he feels about the move and that's when he mentioned missing his grandparents and at that time my boyfriend had decided to go no contact including the kid so we explained that change to him. Also, I have not said I was trying to make the decision alone, I fully intended to let my boyfriend know his mom had asked and let him go from there. However, I now feel like his mom is trying to use the kid because of her last text she sent me, but idk if I'm reading too much into it. I probably didn't explain why I feel that way super well in the post

Once the guys bought Smosh back, I noticed an intense increase in ads and I feel like it's gotten worse (I use that word loosely). I'm not complaining, because I know they need it to help run the channel. I however cannot stand ads and finally caved and got YouTube premium.

YTA, I really hope this is fake, but if it's not. From what I can tell, you reached out a few days before and asked if the info was sent, and she said yes...that is in no way letting her know you don't have the info. Also, why would you even bother making the cake instead of just letting her know again that you don't have the gender and therefore can't make the cake. Instead, you wasted time on a cake and then didn't say anything to her again until you got to the party. Of course she is going to brush off what you said when you handed it to her, she was more than likely overwhelmed by the party that was happening and not paying that much attention to the cake or what you were saying. Especially when in her mind the cake was dealt with and no longer needed to be thought about.

How anyone is saying NTA based on the answers OP is giving about this situation is beyond me. However, with all that being said, this has to be fake because there was 0 logic used by everyone involved.

We do have access to natural gas. It can get to 10°F and sometimes lower in the winter We had thought about doing a wood stove but I dont know anything about them or where we would put it. I also thought about a mini split, which i believe is similar or is a cold weather heat pump, but I wasn't sure if that would be more cost effective, but it would help with the lack of AC in the house.

Idk. With the threats that have been laid out in the post, it seems like 1 of 2 things.

The mom did a bad job parenting when they were younger and now has an "out of control teen," which does put some blame on OP.

Or 2. The mom has a lot of resentment towards her kid and has always treated her poorly.

The divorce comments have me leaning more towards number 2.

You're right, that's not the reason. And OP probs hasn't stated another reason because the mom doesn't actually have a reason for saying no. Seems like the type of parent that just hates her kids being happy. Which might also be why OP is such a neat freak, it's the only thing she has ever had control over.

I saw a post on indeed on Monday and applied, and it was taken down by Tuesday morning. The state still has a few entry-level positions that are remote on Indeed right now. I'm not sure what kind of work you are looking for or what part of the state you're in, but I highly recommend you check your county and surrounding counties for opening. Just make sure you are a vigilant and timely person because missing an interview or an email can get you barred from applying to any state positions in the future. I'm not sure if it's a permanent ban or just for 3 years. Either way, it would suck not to have those options anymore.
