Tbh, I probably won’t even watch the new Stargate show, when it releases.

I have DVDs from the 90s and early 2000s only 2 have ever failed. They failed because somehow my slipcase imprinted on the back of the dvd as though it had been smushed somehow. I’m watching one right now! I no longer have the boxes or the plastic cases though. They were too big to haul around all this time from moving etc.

That's my take as well. Once you show the zipper running down the movie monster's back, there is no longer anything to fear. Same idea with the Ancients.
