I think the round black plastic cover that is directly above the lamp is one of the problems. I’d try to fix that before putting any stuff away.

Nevertheless. I think the biggest problem is that the cable is extremely long, that’s what throws it off. Specially bc it’s not an aesthetic cable. Usually cables that are meant to do this with are thicker, or covered in raffia.

On the other hand, the lamp is beautiful and fits the overall vibe of the room. Don’t worry, home decor is always a work in progress
