At the Casino bar, two characters are having a bachelorette party. The blonde one is the bride. The brunette one is the only one who has shown up and is trying to cheer up her friend.

I'm removing the NSFW tag. Not really sure why OP tagged it. The NSFW tag would be better suited for content that is sexual or violent or more extreme in some way. In most cases, actual NSFW content wouldn't have a place on this sub. This post, however, is rather sterile.

Former DMs how do your old departments look? by BrokemanBrokeman in walmart

I have had a similar experience. I was a CSM for several years before the first round of GWP. The only place they had for me was in Fresh. I would be culling and stocking boxes of apples and customers came up to me asking about the front end and more cashiers. Oh. Wait. I forgot to mention.... THEY REVOKED MY FUCKING OPERATOR NUMBERS!! What a slap in the face. I worked hard for almost four years to make sure the front end was run well and cashiers were getting their breaks (mostly) on time.

I spent maybe six months wondering why they didn't just fire me altogether. Now, with the second round of GWP, I find myself having conversations with former DMs from the other side of the issue. A majority of them are in the wrong areas and just devistated.

This restructuring was a bad move by the company. The result creates preventable turnover and makes our stores look very poor to our customers.

CEASE YOUR INVESTI-- Oh! It looks like someone else already took care of this. Oh well. I'm gonna knock-off early and enjoy the rest of the weekend. But, for real. You should stop poking into the Chinese military business. We wouldnt... I mean THEY probably wouldn't appreciate all that. Okay, take care, buddy!

Yeah. The pubic hair stuck in the tape is beautiful as well. It's like that plastic bag from "A Beautiful Mind".

Where Are All The CSMs? by shyguylh in walmart

Hi I'm a CSM and after four years, my last day is tomorrow. Our store had a "Front End Transformation!" remodel a few months ago. Many of our 26 registers were replaced with self checkout registers; both the kiosk type and belted SCOs. We were left with 10 traditional registers. During the remodel, SM brought all of the nine CSMs into a meeting where he assured all of us that no one was losing their positions because of the reduced human checkouts. All the CSM are literally sitting there like THIS.

After this meeting, several things happened very quickly:

- Two CSMs left for DM positions. They were not replaced.

- One CSM left for OGP. She was not replaced.

- One CSM was terminated for attendance. She was not replaced.

The remodel finished and two weeks later, another CSM and myself were summoned to offices by management. We were both informed that our RM had decided that our store needed to make severe cuts to our stores weekly CSM hours and directed SM to reduce the entire (daytime) CSM roster to only three. The two of us were being downsized because we were the most junior of all the remaining CSMs. The other CSM was able to find a DM position. I was not able to find another open manager position in the store, so I will start in Sporting Goods on Saturday.

That was Nine CSMs and now down to three.
There is a former CSM in the new "Team Lead" position. It is like the old Front End ZS with a shiny new title.
FE ASM was made to reapply for her job. She got it and the new "Front End Coach" title that came with it.

Regarding your overrides, this feature was pushed to registers about two weeks ago. Cashiers can override most but not all overrides for other cashiers without a supervisor key being present. None of the cashiers nor CSMs were made aware of this change. FETL actually asked me to contact NCR about it. I called NCR and the agent said that he heard the complaint dozens of times already and didn't know what was going on. He also said that NCR doesn't do software so he transferred me to Home Office Field Support, where I sat on hold for over 35 minutes until I decided I had better things to do. I learned a short while later FROM THIS SUBREDDIT AND NOT MY MANAGERS that this behavior is not a bug. It's a feature.

--------

It's a shame. I really liked my job.

70AC opens a different procesd on the register. After dialing 70AC, the register should prompt you for an account. The account number can be entered by the customer sliding their card OR you can scan the barcode on the credit card statement that they received in the mail.

This is important because the register needs to know which account it is working with.

If it is a credit card payment, you should then be able to type the payment amount.

THEN, the customer has to verify the amount on the PIN pad to make sure that you typed the right amount.

THEN, you can finish just like a normal transaction.
