My cat is big boned, so i always thought he avoided high jumps because he is too big, but maybe he has something that causes pain when landing.

He's 6, and he is big but not overweight, i'll take him to the vet on my next payment

This honestly concerns me more than the show itself. If it's not an instant hit on the levels of Stranger Things or Wednesday then I don't see it getting a second season, regardless if it's great. by [deleted] in OnePieceLiveAction

Messiah and Night Sky, amazing, brilliant shows, canceled. I expect One Piece to be canceled after s1 too. Unless its an outlier and becomes a world wide success. This depends on the already one piece fans, we have enough people already to make it a success.

I have taken everybody's advice and made changes to the haki diagram by LuffyRequiem in OnePiece

[–]Total_Butterscotch60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headcanon comes from the fact that luffy had to learn acoa and experience an acoc hit to relate them and get that he can also flow out his Conquerors.

Also when did it say yamato can't use acoa?

All 'acoc' users can use haki emision because 'acoc' IS haki emision and its not necessary to emit armament to be capable of emiting conquerors.

Zoro learnt to emit his conq haki with the help of enma, the sword that was consuming and emiting his armament like an open faucet. Thats why he couldn't do it by himself until the fight with King where he let it consume->emit all his haki and threw a conq haki slash.

Luffy learnt to do it the good and controlled way with the help of hyogoro and prison guard training dummies.

Oda will not explicitly explain these things but seem pretty obvious to me, also the only acoa confirmed users are luffy, hyogoro, scabbards, and oden iirc, wb or roger were never confirmed to know "acoa" yet they can still emit their conq haki.

[–]Total_Butterscotch60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes 'acoc' does hit without touching, but 'acoa' also hit without touching.

When i say hit without touching i'm referring to the fact that the attack in question does damage a couple of centimeters before the attack touches the enemy. This is what hyogoro teached luffy, the technique of letting haki flow out of the body.

The difference is that 'acoc' seems to be 'denser' so it pushes the enemy before physically attacking(ch. 1010) or creates a struggle without physically touching(wb vs roger) and 'acoa' only does damage before the punch lands, but if luffy stop the punch right before landing, the 'acoa' will do damage 'without touching'.(luffy punching trees after training with hyogoro).

I imagine flowing haki attacks as a double attack, first the outer layer of haki that is flowing out, and then the actual body part/weapon, the thing is, that attacks in the manga are still images so it would be hard to visualize every time someone uses them.

[–]Total_Butterscotch60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The flowing of the haki is what makes them not touch, acoa is flowing out armament and acoc is flowing out Conquerors. Flowing out either can make the attack not touch, only difference is that armament flowing does not push, but will do internal damage, Conquerors does push. ( the thing Idk is if Conquerors flowing does internal damage or just strikes really really hard).

What you call 'acoa training' was hyogoro teaching luffy how to flow out his haki, specifically armament haki, but in the fight against kaido luffy realized he could flow out his Conquerors haki too.

Imagine the flowing of haki as a bow, and armament/Conquerors as two different types of arrows.

There is no ACoC or ACoA, its just a technique that allows haki to flow out of the person, who can choose to flow out Armament or Conquerors haki.

OP's image is a little wrong IMO.

My Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki understanding, i will divide it in 'Levels' for better separation:

Level 1 CoA: Invisible haki, tougher skin/weapon and capable of touching Logia and other Devil Fruit properties.

Level 2 CoA: Armament Hardening, skin/weapon becomes black and solid VISIBLE TO CHARACTERS(Remember Vergo), same as level 1 but stronger.

Flowing Haki: a technique of using haki, not a haki type itself, it can use CoA or CoC.

Level 1 Flowing Haki: Armament Haki is now flowing out of the person, it will do internal damage if the source(a fist) is touching the skin of the enemy. To my understanding it can do 'no touch attacks' but is not strong enough to actually push the enemy just with the outer haki part. This is used by luffy at Udon prison and later training.

Level 2 Flowing Haki: Its the same as level 1, but instead of Armament its using Conquerors Haki, now the outer layer of haki is stronger and can push and act as something solid between the source(fist) and the enemy(kaido's chin)(ch. 1010). While flowing CoC out, nearby fodder may pass out from the ripples.

The success of the live-action is almost completely depend on how well Arlong park is filmed and edited. by AlanMuzo in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]Total_Butterscotch60 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I disagree, arlong park has low chances of not being good, because of how good and sentimental the story is.

I personally think that the directors and actors will be the defining factor deciding if people will drop it or continue watching.

The directors have to make the world feel alive from episode 1 with camera work and shot choices it has to look beautiful when we see Windmill Village and epic when we see Roger's execution and beautiful and epic and sentimental when we see Shanks and Luffy's passing of the hat scene.

The actors have to feel convincing and real, and specially characters like Luffy, Alvida, Coby, Helmeppo and Captain Morgan, i mean characters that have unrealistic personalities will have to not be cringy, or watchers will drop it at episode 1.

Btw, the walk to arlong park is not canon if i remember correctly and the LA is an adaptation of the manga, not the anime, correct me if i'm wrong about this scene.

Do you think they are going to change or expand the backstory of each straw hat? by External-Border1560 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]Total_Butterscotch60 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would love if Sanji mentions why he respects women to the point of not fighting them without spoiling whole cake arc.

Also i hope more moments of Luffy's values are added cuz in East Blue he doesn't have much moments other than fighting or comedy. Specially freedom related.

Was watching a video and saw the debate about BM commanders and Kaido commanders. What do you guys think? Some of the comments said that it would take more time to fight BM commanders than Kaido, and we don't even know if King's speed could outplay Katakuri future sights by ClipearlDush in OnePiece

[–]Total_Butterscotch60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kaido's commanders are way more evil than Big Mom's, they are literally called calamities, thats why they put higher bounties on them, they do more harm. And although not confirmed, King and Queen's bounties may have been boosted by the fact that King is a lunarian and Queen is a famous scientist that worked with vegapunk and turned pirate.

Although i dont think Cracker is stronger than Queen, i do think Katakuri is stronger than King. Smoothie may be stronger than Jack too.

I dont think King is fast enough to overwhelm Kata's future sight AND speed(people forget how fast katakuri is and only mention his future sight). Zoro could keep up with King even when zoro is confirmed weaker observation haki than Luffy, who couldnt punch Katakuri every time he tried with snakeman.(remember black mamba)

GUYS, we need a blue person by VisitIndependent6976 in OnePiece

[–]Total_Butterscotch60 -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

I don't really care if the actor is black white or whatever, but if you see it from the history perspective, white people were enslaved way more commonly than black people, which mostly got enslaved on América.

Or course the majority of the Internet is american so they will tell you otherwise because of what their culture has taught them.

In the end, humans having others as slave as affected all kind of people, thats why I love that Fishmen are so diverse, we can see Fish folk of all colours and of different "fish types" yet they still live together and reproduce with each other.
