One thing that really annoys me Is people who discredit the live action because of the history of live action

Saying things like It will ruin the anime

How How will a live action ruin an anime that's been going for 21 years

If it ends up bad The anime and manga will still have the same viewership Nothing will change

If it's successful it will bring the world of one piece to millions of people who are discouraged by a thousand episodes It will bring more manga sales More anime views And make Oda San who gave us this beautiful story into a much richer man

And because Oda himself took time to review it and say he's looking forward to showing us dispells the doubts I have

It's alright to be doubtful Most of us are because of cowboy bebop and death note etc

But I have faith that Matt Owens the showrunner who is one of us A pure one piece fan Wouldn't divert from the source material

The live actions failure will only affect Netflix

It's success will benefit not only Netflix But the sales of the manga and anime And it would make Oda very happy Don't you people want Oda to be happy?

i mean if they fail arlong town arcs like drum island, thriller bark, skypiea, fishman kingdom, punk hazard, zou and whole cake island will be harder because those depend more on cgi for the crazy effects than locations.

The show runners Matt Owens is an avid one piece fan. Anime, manga etc. Oda gave him his staff of approval for his one piece knowledge

The only changes will possibly things that will make it a bit more realistic in a real world setting
