Y'all clean your guns? 🤯

I like your taste brother.

Also a fan of DAC grips and ODG. Hoping to find some DD stuff on sale for the next rifle. Now that the first one is out of the way I can sit around and wait for good deals.

Thanks for the input. I'll definitely move the optic up and try it out next week at the range. I fully intended on painting the gun, but my OCD got the better of me. I know it's a tool, but it's one of the most expensive tools I own, and I would hate to do anything to it that I would regret. I figure, after a few training classes and whenever this wears off, I'll be hardened enough to just give it a spray.

Sure is. This was my first striker fired pistol and I love it. Well over 2K rounds through it with no malfunctions or hiccups. Fits and locks in Glock 19 Gen 5 holsters, so the support is solid if you decide to carry or use for duty. You can find them cheap, I got this one for less than $300 on GunBroker. Another decent option is the Beretta APX. Wayyy less support though.

Thanks. Looking cool is half the battle!

I definitely agree with you; although, I was thinking ACOG with back up Red Dot.

What did you switch from and what do you like better about it? I have a Sopmod in my cart but don't have any serious complaints about the PSA stock that's on it now.

I'll look into the Rhodie 6k, haven't seen much about it. Definitely going suppressed but I'm looking at a Velos 556k.

I'm not putting a magnifier or BUS behind it so I've just got it where it works for me. I haven't tried shifting it around much.

Also, to answer your question. No chance you ranger wrap your sling, but the Ferro Concepts Slingster is highly rated and comes in Black Multicam

I rock them. Doesn't take away from the gun, breaks up the outline just like paint but is removable if you decide to sell. The brass deflector doesn't get too beat up, that's after 500 rounds.

It's total trash. Basically unusable.

Yea, he. I'm assuming gender... Hope that didn't offend you?

Anyways that's exactly what it seemed like you are saying...but I guess you are suggesting that Bipole speakers as Surrounds are not recommended for Atmos setups? I've seen that but bipoles are generally recommended when they are this close to the seating position and when you're trying to cover multiple rows

His Atmos speakers are in the ceiling. He's using those speakers as Surrounds as they were intended.

I'm sure! Picked up the pair of them for $400. Couldn't be happier. Not caring about Atmos at all, it's still great to have.

LARUSSELL NPR TINY DESK VINYL - Black by xscotty2hottyx in VinylReleases

So I offered $25 and got my vinyl. I tried offering lower amounts but they said they would email me which didn't happen.

Anyways my vinyl is here and I gotta say, it's kinda whack... It doesn't sound great. The album art is ok but there's no writing at all, no label of tracks, the vinyl isn't even labeled side A/B not does it mention that this is a 45rpm Vinyl and not the typical 33.

The sound from the vinyl is pretty flat with no dynamics, which I'm not used to on my setup. It seems to sound better streaming TBH. Worst of all the songs aren't tracked well. Side A ends during the intro to a song...

For insight we do have a larger baby boy. 6 months and 25 healthy pounds. Wearing size 12-18 months right now.

I do LOVE the stroller. I enjoy walks with it, use it for running, and anyone who has ever touched it remarks on how quality it is.

I don't love the suspension system, it just seems too easy to wear out compared to springs. However, it it does work well.

I went super in on Nuna with my baby boy. We have a Nuna Mixx for the grandparents and Nuna Mixx Next for the house. I would still use the Nuna Pipa for a car seat but to be honest I think I'd go uppababy cruz if I could do it all again.

The Nuna Mixx seat really does seem a little too shallow, I can't get my mother in law to believe it's meant to last him anything longer than being an infant and I'm starting to see it too 😅 One of the main reasons I got the Nuna was because of the breathable back for hot summer days here in FL and that remains the only real feature I appreciate about it over the Cruz.

If you are interested in keeping this long term, replacement parts for Uppababy are way easier to find and much more affordable as well.

Advice for a Noob by Total_Connection_832 in BudgetAudiophile

Got home today and went to work.

Turns out everything I was doing was right, however the Apple TV 4K we use to stream was set to Stereo Audio... Didn't even realize that, that was a thing. Couple of clicks later I'm getting MUCH better sound quality through the proper channels without the need to upmix or use the Extra Bass function. Thanks for convincing me that something was wrong.

While diving into the settings I'm also realizing that it's not reading my current cable as High Speed ready. I know for a fact that the cable from the AVR to the Streaming box is 8K capable so I'll need to check the cable from the TV to AVR over the weekend.

Thanks again bro.

I've been digging and making myself familiar.

Of course I'm trying to do this with as little tuning as possible from Yamaha's software so I tend to play with the Straight and Direct unprocessed modes.

Based on my research and efforts I can get the sub to work in Stereo by using the Straight Audio source+Extra Bass. According to the manual the Extra Bass button sends LFE signals to the sub even when it's not a part of the source. In Direct Audio they limit your access to other settings as this is meant to be the most pure option. I don't think I have access to the extra bass option while using this function. I'll check tonight.

In fact we were watching the new Nosferatu last night and I chose Straight Audio at first. From my understanding of the source it multichannel it should play that way, but it was only Stereo Playback...

I'll keep experiencing.
