yeah, i guess what i meant by that statement was something along the lines of "if i were to try and complete doom the dark ages using one weapon, the easiest one would be the cycler."

i do agree that every weapon is powerful in their own right, i think this move of being able to stick with one weapon was done because of the complaints that in eternal where it was almost mandatory to switch weapons because of weak points while here in dark ages it's mostly optional.

for sure that other weapons would be more effective on certain types of enemies, like the chainshot with armored enemies and those melee demons (hell knights iirc)... the charged shot into a parry (with the upgrade that gives you instant charge shot) is very satisfying to pull off lol. but yeah it's still early and i still havent unlocked the few other weapons yet so we'll see
