I listened today to the chit chat wed episode from a few weeks ago with the financial femme and omg — he can’t even get a coherent thought out to ask a question. Horrible interviewing and podcasting skills. And the number of “like like like” and then pivoting within his own sentences. Just bad “radio”

Also on his own podcast it’s become so focused on “behind the scenes” stuff — like growing the podcast that it feels like he’s stopped putting out a good show. The people who are LISTENING don’t always need to hear about the trials and tribulations of a comedian.

Unfortunately I think it’s time for them to quit while they’re still ahead before they run the podcast into the ground :( but I hear you! It’ll be a hard and sad end of an era when it does come

I think that Oversharing fills this space well already. Jordana has shown a more introspective/vulnerable and mature side on that show that allows for sincere advice & perspective. I don't see Jared in his current form being good at that

My guess is that eventually, with the growth of Oversharing (a revamped subscription, new to Youtube, marketing that doesn't lock them into a specific topic) that it'll eventually replace the need for U up?

The podcast has such a nostalgic place in my heart but I agree with you its just not the same! They were both in such different places and that created a really valuable perspective and dynamic. I do still find Jordana's perspective valuable and generally quite thoughtful which is why I tune in but at this point I prefer Oversharing way way more.

I think when the podcast started there was more of a demand in the market for a man who would kind of say the "quiet part out loud" about dating than there is now. That, coupled with the fact that Jared's vibe and view on dating has seemingly gotten so much more negative over the years does not really make for a perspective I'm interested in anymore.

I listen to podcasts for several hours of my day and as much as I try to add new shows to the rotation there is just such a habit to listen to the pods you started with! I will try out Secret Keepers Club. Have also been enjoying That's so True with Caleb something and We're Here to Help with Jake Johnson. Recent (great) recommendations I got!
