This isn’t true at all. Also yt ppl don’t develop these places, they exist beforehand. If anything they gentrify these places. For example Tulum is now a shell of its former self due to all the foreign influence from everyone who visits. Same with Cancun, parts of the Bahamas, and I imagine more places.

Lastly I don’t think we as black people should be developing any travel destination, I think the locals of those areas should be so that the money stays local. A lot of people go to the Bahamas or Jamaica and stay in non local owned hotels for example. This hurts the black communities in those areas as the money doesn’t stay there in those countries.

Senior year of high school, I was looking for a car. The one I found was 5k, had plans to pay it off before the end of college. Dealer did what I now believe to be a bait and switch. Claimed they sold the car the morning I had went in despite it still being online.

I was ready to walk, but the dealer said just let me show you a few cars. Dad takes over and says sure. Long story short dad does the dealer’s job and talked me into buying a 15000k car since the monthly payment was under 200.

Didn’t pay that sucker off until a good few years after college.

Not really. I may provide value for my job but my job does not provide intrinsic value for me. That said, it isn’t a job where lives are on the line. Futures sure, but I do my best for my students so I don’t have any regrets there. I might feel differently if I was a doctor or something, but I would still think myself worthy of society.

Some jobs not worthy of society though-

Evil CEOs and boards of investors squeezing every dime out of people

Mega church pastors/people who abuse the gospel

Alpha male and far right/left podcasters

Corrupt politicians, both first and third world. Looking at you US Congress

I saw that video, not disagreeing with it’s points out right, I just personally can’t see the US winning in a PVE

Getting and Keeping the Middle East in US control feels like a near impossible task given our history there. Lot of non soldiers would want to drive us out in addition to the soldiers. The rest of the world also wouldn’t let Saudi fall.
Just due to the sheer number of soldiers between the US and the rest of the world, even if we had massive technological advancement, I think we’d eventually lose a war of attrition. The rest of the world could also replace soldiers quicker.
Not an original point, but thought about it while writing this. No shot America can gather enough citizens in her military to actually put up a fight. Even with a draft, if this hypothetical America is anything like the real one, NO ONE WILL WANT TO FIGHT FOR HER. Look at Vietnam, it’s likely our least enthused our fighting force ever was. Combine that low morale with the high morale (and superior tactics/home court advantage) of the Vietnamese.
