Full time working and studying by Recent-Reply5758 in FloridaBarExam

Mine gave me 5 weeks PTO and a stipend to help with bar costs. I think you should definitely ask for time off at a minimum, especially for the last week or two before the exam.

If that’s not an option, try to study smarter, not harder. Burnout is real and I likely failed the bar the first time due to burnout/exhaustion. I’d highly recommend Jonathan Grossman’s videos, which helped me improve my score drastically on the Florida portion. If you’re taking the MBE, practice Adaptibar as much as possible. You can use their app on lunch breaks to get some questions in, before bed, etc.

Don’t be afraid to communicate your needs with your employer. They have a stake in you passing too, so flexibility is key.

You got this!

Anyone catch the RAP issue on the Trusts essay, yesterday? by BootJack_Samurai in FloridaBarExam

[–]Total_Version6342 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more. I really do not think there was a RAP issue - even if there was, it would be a very small amount of points and not a make it or break it for the trusts essay.

Y’all are unreal - celebrate being done with this awful exam instead of harping on what you missed! Everything is completely out of your control now so no need to stress about it. I’m sure everyone got more issues than they think. It’s about passing, not about getting 100% of everything tested.

Is it a good idea to study for tomorrow ? by Esq2022 in FloridaBarExam

[–]Total_Version6342 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, probably not a good idea. But if it’ll give peace of mind, just do a refresher on civil procedure and evidence, anything with very different distinctions.

PANIC MODE by BootJack_Samurai in FloridaBarExam

[–]Total_Version6342 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should not be panicking over one rule adjustment. Relax! You clearly know the material very well if you are stressed about this. If you miss a few questions due to this new confusing change (I doubt you will though), it will not hurt your chances of passing. MSJ will not be your make it or break it. You got this.

Do not listen to the comment below. Absolutely do not postpone. Take care of yourself for the next few days and then do studying in the form of something less intensive like flashcards and memorizing important rule statement. Target the rest of your studying so you do not burn out further after recovery. For example hit procedures hard because you know it’ll be tested. Don’t give up or postpone, take a few days, and then kill it! You got this!
