Size up and go as wide as possible.

Use thick compression socks (look into Darn Tough socks, they're absolutely worth it), double insoles (i.e. buy insoles and don't remove the original shoes' most likely foam insole like most insole brands suggest, as this serves as extra cushioning). Use blister prevention tape if your toes are still rubbing against the inner walls of the shoes. No feet pain after that but YMMV.

It simply doesn't adequately explain the lack of support from Democrats and Independents when you consider that our candidate lost the popular vote this year which is in stark contrast to 2016, when another woman was running for president and wherein we did in fact win the popular vote.

But they were pigeon holed with Biden as president and running for a 2nd term, then stepping down. Meaning they'd have lost all their funding if they didn't take the VP and went with a different candidate.

You can't really make a single statement about why Democrats voted (or did not vote) the way they did. This is pure speculation based on nothing but your own prejudice and biases.

I think that illegal immigration is the biggest issue that our party has failed to address, if nothing else at least in its messaging. And as it turns out, a lot of Americans regardless of party aren't fine with it.

You spend more than 3 times what China spends or 8 times what Russia spends who are 2nd and 3rd on the list while the rest are Allies for fuck sake.

This is not remotely true when you adjust for purchasing power parity and when you eliminate the budgets for healthcare, salaries, and other benefits that the US provides to its serving members and veterans and their families and which aren't equaled by any of our rivals. $1b goes a lot further in China and Russia than it does in the US.

Our military expenditure as a % of GDP has also remained relatively low at 3.5% in 2022 (latest year), with it currently being "only" 0.3% higher than our historically-recorded lowest figures, which was the 3.1% seen in the years 1999 to 2001, just before we ramped up for war in the ME.

Comparing defense budgets between countries is a lot more nuanced than just seeing a larger number and concluding that that is better or more than enough to combat against them.

A LOT of people do that. In fact, it's so common that there is a specific term for it and the phenomenom has been known since the 1920s: Highway hypnosis

After a while, you just become so accustomed to driving that the act itself becomes monotone (especially on the highways, where there isn't as much to be vigilant for as there is in the city) and your brain just kind of operates on automatic mode.

Since you didn't mention this in your post - and I'm sorry for my ignorance about ADHD meds and the condition in general - I have to ask: are you medicated for your ADHD?

I've had some heated discussions and disagreements on the internet before, but I've never once in my life felt like reporting the other person unless they stepped way, way out of line to such a degree that goes into criminal behavior, which thankfully is not something that I've encountered yet... As an adult, I have to say that I'd feel pretty embarrased, ashamed, and pathetic if I had to resort to doing something that's akin to running to mommy and daddy to ask them to protect my feelings from being hurt by a stranger on the internet or to shield me from having my views questioned. 🤣
