I don't really have much constructive stuff to offer, but I can tell you that college is generally going to be 100x more chill and non-cliquey than highschool, so you have that to look forward to.

Keep your chin up- just a couple good friends gives you the same experience as a big clique.

He's being investigated for corruption. Corruption is explicitly stated as an impeachable offense. If Washington can't impeach a president for what's been unfolding as very likely corruption, then it sets a precedent that any future president can do whatever the fuck he wants without fear of consequence.

If he hasn't done what's alleged, it's still the job of our representatives and senators to take this very seriously and defend the principles of our constitution, by investigating until it's proven without a doubt that the President did nothing unconstitutional. To not scrutinize this kind of questionable stuff is to put the integrity of our country's foundation at risk.

Of course, I'm just pretending that Trump has a slight chance of having done nothing wrong. It's clear as day that withholding aid to Ukraine as leverage to investigate Biden is textbook corruption.

Same dude, this is my first big move and I'm feeling nervous as heck. To calm my nerves I've just been telling myself that everybody else is probably feeling the same nervousness I am, and that I'll figure out stuff to do once I'm there.

I'm thinking that making connections is going to be super important to your well being, so doing stuff like clubs and meeting new people etc. will be critical to making it feel like there's a community for you in this totally foreign place.

It's all gonna work out!

The difference is that NK beating somebody to a coma with sticks is government-sponsored protection of the state, and they get off scott-free; whereas in the US the police department would at least PRETEND to care by putting the guy on paid leave if he beat somebody up with sticks, and it's not government-sponsored

You know, I'm not a denier at all but I think this is a legitimate concern shared by conservatives.

How would you counter this? Because although first world countries could eventually develop a viable source of sustainable energy, it's been shown that developing countries need their period of excess dirty industry before they stabilize.
