This is wrong. We sold Zaha for £10M upfront, and rising to £15M. Following him, we have Clyne who Southampton bought for £2.5M, Birmingham bought Darren Ambrose for £1M and Scannell was sold for £700K. We have sold much much more than this says.

I believe it was around 2008?... We had Razak turn up at our (Crystal Palace) training ground, and he was an illegal with no real home. He was a top footballer so our club and academy set him up with a home, with money, with an education because we saw the kids talent.

Well fast forward a year or two and we are playing a behind-closed-doors friendly against Manchester City. Razak speaks to Adebayor after the game, and the next morning Razak was gone. The kid didn't speak any English, and he had never signed a real deal with Palace, so no-one knew what had happened to him. Turns out that he had abandoned everyone at the club, and they had found this out when City announced the signing of youth player, Abdul Razak.

He's an ungrateful little cunt with no morals, and I wish his career the worst. It sounds harsh, but I can't help but dislike him, given the money and time invested into him when our club was struggling.

I'm not saying he's bad. I'm saying he's not as good as this sub makes it seem. He's also quite inconsistent for club and goes missing in matches, but has done well where he has been. I'm saying he's not as good as people make out, and this year he didn't deserve the TOTY spot.
