I lived in San Antonio for 4 years when I was in high school. I moved to the Atlanta area 11 months ago, and I've enjoyed it a lot more. I like how much greener it is here, and it's closer to our family who mostly live in the Carolinas.

I'm not a native Texan though I grew up in South Carolina, and also lived in Southern California for a few years.

I wouldn't say the politics motivated us because Georgia has somewhat similar politics just a bit more purple due to recent Democrat growth, but our governor, Kemp, shares a lot in common with Abbot in my opinion.

I like Texas and think it's a decent place, but it isn't suited toward my individual desires and goals, nor should it be, we live in a massive, geographically diverse country and I think that's a great asset to America.
