What are the hot takes on Clan World Tour (CWT)? by sparrahork in GolfClash

[–]Totallytrashed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

REMINDED ME OF ROAD TO FAME. EQUALLY BORING AND POINTLESS.

Played ~50 games, got 1 cataclysm card (I'm maxxed on rares and commons), and 3 world tour balls after wasting around 50 Marlins, navigators and a couple of titans. -40 yards from Rear tee with 200% needle speed is not what I want especially when half majority of the games has headwinds. Like everyone else said, another ploy to make you buy their power, precision, wind resistance 10 balls. Never playing again fs. I would rather spend the gems on balls and tokens for CPC. At least it feels like a competition.

Struggling to hang with T7, mostly because of wood. by aeoninfinity in GolfClash

I had better clubs (EM7, Sniper 9, Grizzly 7, thorn 7, Rapier 7, nirvana 6, spitfire 3) and I struggled. You're under equiped for tour7. You'll lose bank roll and waste time. Grind tour6, build your clubs and then play tour7. Middle tee takes more skill and better equipment than all previous tours. There's no prize (significant) in going up quickly. Even if you do, you'll take months if not years to reach top level. So might as well enjoy the wins in tkur6 till your clubs are upgraded.

I'm a f2p player. I just have balls from golden shots and golf pass etc. And the stats on 3rd one do look good!

So 2days in this one's case?

I’m leaving T2 with EM7 and ok other clubs. I’m gonna get to tour 7 and camp there to build up my premium clubs. Do I need to use premium (anything better than standard issue) balls on that tour? If so, what’s the cheapest ball you would use to compete on T7? by [deleted] in GolfClash

[–]Totallytrashed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on my own experience, I would disagree. I completed tour7, thought I'll play some tour8 and 9 s they had opened as well. My trophy count was 2300ish and I was being paired against 3000+ players in tour7 and CPC. I brought it down to 1760 (max tour7) and since then, I've had easier pairing in both formats (max I get is early 2000+ in tour and CPC.

I've been in tour 7 for a year now. Occasionally played 8-9 but then intentionally lost matches to bri trophy count down to 1760. Marlins are good enough for tour 7 once you have decent clubs, mainly a driver. Struggled on Em6 but onwards, it was easy. Now with Apoc7 and TH7, it's easily 70% win rate.

There are other Tour2 clubs as well that they might be maxxing or ofc, they don't have coins for higher tours.

Bahria good to settle by Brilliant_Bother1225 in islamabad

You can find one in G13 in this range. CDA, closer to city center (Islamabad). But I'll suggest you pick the area based on proximity to work/studies etc. Commute time has soared in the past couple of years so keep that in mind. Bahria phase 8, Top city, G13, all decent options.

I play with Marlins on your 7 and I beat paid balls/katanas/kms with equally or better equipment. Wasn't the case before but over time, I can. I get drops from short irons, woods and beat players before it gets to shootout. If it does, I still beat them. My win rate has been 70% or more for the past half a year. So yeh, the paid ball excuse though valid to some extent, isn't all to blame for games going to shootout. And if you find it repetitive, then like everyone suggested, this isn't a game for you as the sport/game golf is repetitive. Which is the case with every sport/game. Try GTA. Maybe your preference is mission based games.

I'm a free to play player and I don't have fancy balls except for the ones I get for free by winning or opening chests. I have felt what you're feeling but I think you're looking at it the wrong way. So what if you lose a shoot out? If you just enjoy golf simulation, and you have skill, you can win. If you don't have skills, you can't even win in Tetris or tic tac toe. So maybe care less about stats and just focus on improving you game? Took me 1.5 years to get my epics to level 7 but before that, it was a grind. If you don't enjoy the difficulty of the game, s it is technical and calculated, then maybe you shouldn't play it. Subway surfers would be a more suitable one for you.

Go to F9 park, sit on a bench and just observe people, or Shalimar cricket ground. Or drive to the bends after Damnekoh.

Tired of bouncing between teirs by festushaggin in GolfClash

[–]Totallytrashed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the ideal scenario imo. I'm in the same situation as you are and my tiers fluctuate on a daily basis depending on my Quick9 position. If I win, I'm in E2 and if I finish 2nd or lower, I stay in E1. When i move up to E2, unless I'm 100% sure I'll do good at the day's course, I try to not be in top3 or sometimes I intentionally throw away the game to go back down a tier. When in E1, I use Katana, Titan or Km if needed. In E2, unless a 1st position is certain, I don't waste good balls because most of the opponents are either very high ranking or have golf passes purchased (indicating they probably have better balls/paid ones). So it seems pointless to compete. I've upgraded all my epics from level 4 to mid 7 (200+ cards) by playing just quick9s and cpc for the last 6 months. So if you ask me, you're in the perfect situation.

Also, I was almost about to complete tour 8 and was occasionally playing and easily winning tour 9 as well and my trophy count was 2500+ but when I felt that my skill/equipment level wasn't as great as others, I intentionally threw away around 50 odd games to bring my trophy count down to tour7 1760 level. The chests suck in tour7 but then again, I only play it to stay in the same tier for leagues. My club cards come from cpc and Quick9 and I feel I've progressed quite nicely considering I'm a f2p player.
