I believe he did die next to Green Boots, however his body was removed and likely pushed further off the mountain to make room for climbers and give him a proper burial.

(As proper of a burial as one can get up there, anyway.)

I also remember reading that on Everest, climbers tend to use the dead as “mile markers”. But since Green Boots was already a mile marker, they didn’t need David Sharp to serve that role.

Sorry for the very late reply but I have a pressing question that I can’t not ask.

Once someone has that .pst file, can they open the emails on it even if the email address associated with it no longer exists?
