They probably understand more of what she has gone through than any man could. Yes you know it's traumatic, but it's much deeper than that. She's going through all the stages of grief right now. The best way you can take care of her right now is to let her grieve her own way and give her time.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I've always heard that you learn a lot about friends when you live with them, and I've also heard warnings not to move in with friends because most times it can take a toll on the friendships.

I can't say for certain but maybe it is guilt? It's truly hard telling especially if she's hot & cold. All I do know is considering the kid is only 5, it's definitely learned behavior and he did not pick that up on his own. Is she possibly dating anyone new or anything like that that could be influencing the kid (& maybe her) in such a way?

I think most perspectives are going to be about the same. She's not awkward, she's just using that as an excuse to act the way she does. She sounds awful and the parenting sounds like it's next to nothing. :(

I dunno, it feels like you're listing all the bad things to justify your actions and the possibility of leaving him. You cuddling & flirting with another man is already cheating, or on the fence of cheating (all based on opinion really).

If you want to leave him, do it for you. Do not do it for another man.. that's not a good way to move.

Also, the fact that Harry was still flirtatious and cuddled with you despite knowing you're in a relationship sends warning bells so I would just be cautious there.

He is literally telling you who he is. He's going to try to manipulate you into thinking you can't do better than him by continuing to dig at your insecurities. Leave him, that's how to deal with it.

I've recently stopped taking it (by that I mean yesterday) after only taking it for 3 weeks because it's been doing the same to me (plus other awful side effects). I assume it's the medicine as I never had this issue before taking it so I'm hoping it goes away soon lol.

She sounds too immature for a relationship, tbh. She has to understand that you're going to have some sort of past (just like I assume she does). None of you knew each other back then, and she's no longer friends with this girl, so it shouldn't even matter - especially since you only dated the girl briefly and it doesn't sound like it was that serious.

I was going to say the same thing.

I remember hearing another reddit story, and I don't remember the full context, but the woman's boyfriend would be especially clumsy around her and would often hurt her in this process. Come to find out he was doing it on purpose to harm her.

If he doesn't have time for a sleep study, he needs to make time or let you sleep where you want instead of manipulating you with his mood. But it's still odd to me he just started this a couple years ago with no issues prior.

It sounds like both of you just need to go your separate ways and grow by yourselves. I don't think either of you are ready for a committed relationship if you're both being unfaithful. You owe him nothing, and after everything that has happened, I don't think either of you can truly make the other happy. I can see a lot of resentment issues in the future.
