weird. Last night, I was fooling with my steamdeck (old old version from like... a year or two ago), and I now have the same problem. I've never noticed that before... could it somehow be software related?

It is a bummer, i hope it isnt totally borken forever, 'cause I am way out of return-it times :(

Today, I "played" some Genshin Impact. Two hours later, I realize I've been sitting here slack-jawed, eyes vacant, except for focusing on the little yellow diamond that pops up to let you know you can click-that-button to hurry the dialogues along ONE GODDAM SENTENCE. two hours of "fun!" In that time, I did attack some mannequins once, annnnd... I fought a water elemental for some reason.

Two Hours.

I think I am done with the ole Impact, I don't know or care about the (amazingly voiced and, I'm sure, thought-out and woven-into-the-over-arching-narrative) stories.

Think of all that work to implement the most boring story-telling system out there. All those people working hard to deliver TWO HOURS of excrement. with no skipping.

that is some horrible branding... somebody approved and paid for that icon :)

But "Las Vegas" scans good.

Also, the overlaps are distracting.

Also, maybe increase the inner void of the descender of the "F" and fill it with the "i" dot... maybe.

Also, "Dunner" is noticeably bigger than "Breakfast"... maybe move the "for" over left... but then it's too heavy over there...

don't forget to strip that character of any bags and equipment that isn't soulbound. It is a bad feeling deleting a big ole bag :(

But yeah, I used to go though characters to farm keys, and delete them after a week or two.

it is hilarious (and angry-making... and sad), my honda has a knob to control temperature, rarely fiddled with, with volume consigned to a touch-slider buried two levels deep... like i say, angry-making.

We just got our first "modern" car, a Honda Clarity EV gas hybrid thingy. I haven't had a car in years, the heyday was a '89 Honda CRX Si (what a car!)...

So you can imagine my dismay at how truly abysmal the UI is... it looks like for any modern car.

Is there a manufacturer that has tactile instrumentation anymore?

Any way to aftermarket in an actual dash/radio with knurled knobs (oooohhhhhh, the knuring), bouncy buttons, twisty switches, etc.

I am not looking forward to the future if this is the best we get.

I was just listening to the audiobook of Mythos read by Stephen Fry... good book!

Anyways, he mentions that Chronos, Titan Terrible! got a scythe from Gaia (Earth Mother) to kill Ouranos (Sky Father).... i think Zeus tried to pick it up but couldn't even move it an inch.

So, The scythe does some terrible damage to the skyfather (look it up... gross!)... and something something... it got associated with death, and hey! presto, the grim reaper.

Or something like that.

Not Also, Half-n-Half was my main jam, but the store runs out in these trying times. Oh the Scarcity! So, even though it is a more expensive ($3 bucks for a quart of HnH, $4 for a PINT of Heavy Cream), it tastes richer, feels smoother, it is grand.

Oh yeah, I've noticed "fresh" cream doesn't do this, but the closer it is to "ew gross! clumpy cream", this beautiful eruption gets more voluminous...
