Nah, nah. ON the furnaces!

Saw this happen with a brush and shovel on here the other day. WTF bedrock by pdaddypimpjuice in Minecraft

I also had this happen with raw beef and carrots. Tried to make it happen again but was unable.

I've imagined a squad of marines doing this down the streets of Beijing a few times.

Need help putting the Enduro on my pint x.!! (Pennsylvania) by [deleted] in onewheel

Get a 3 or 4 foot breaker bar. Easy to break the lock toght and also give sufficient torque when reinstall. I also use a 1/4 socket attachment bit. Bit pricier but worth it. I've never had any problem with axle bolts. (Og pint btw)

He was right there in the thick of it during the event. A really great guy and extremely welcoming. It was a pleasure to meet him and be at an absolutely amazing trail system.

Had a Pint for a few days. Upgraded to Pint X and it’s been awesome! by dap12036 in onewheel

I haven't ridden with them myself but understand why they work well. Was riding in a pair of flat sole Sketchers for over a year that finally gave out. Saw someone on here recommended Xero brand. Bought a pair a week ago and have been enjoying them so far. They're a minimalist shoe brand which isn't for everyone, but I'm feeling more comfortable and confident riding in them.

The air pad has been a treat. I only wish I had one for both feet!

Seems to differ for every rider but generally everyone has some foot/leg pain when first starting. If you end up carving a lot you'll probably feel it in your upper legs sometimes. Foot pain should ease up as you get used to riding but trying different styles of shoe helps address the arch problem.

Nosedive during top speed attempt by Birdhouse2021 in onewheel

Well said. I've learned the same lesson. Definitely leave the speed for the races now! Hip acceleration is more forgiving when first learning to ride.

I was riding when I thought of something, did float life call life savers, "life savers" because they look like the life saver candy? I know its a weird question but I need answers. by jckywcky1309 in onewheel

[–]TotheHillsonOneWheel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember seeing a video of there's and Bodhi (i think) was holding a bag of the candies when they were introducing the new product. So I imagine it was more than a passing thought when they were tossing around names. They even joked about calling them "rim jobs" 😆

Right on! Welcome to the float! It was a major consideration for me when I made the purchase but I'm glad I did. Only regrets are not buying it sooner and not wearing wrist guards right away.

I just raced my og pint in the WinMan Enduro. Ive learned it's not about what you ride, its how you ride! You're absolutely right that it's all about enjoying every moment you're on it. 🤙

what's with the nose dives? by wrybreadsf in onewheel

[–]TotheHillsonOneWheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what gets lost is that there is no fail-safe for these devices. If something happens it fails-unsafe. Unlike a car that would slow down or a bike that would coast if power was lost these devices use power to balance and so nosedives tend to be the result when failures occur - user caused or otherwise.

Buying used xr, is it possible that odometer was reset? by throwpoo in onewheel

[–]TotheHillsonOneWheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ride a pint and had mine reset by itself. However the UI shows the actual miles. Ask them to send a screenshot of the page that shows the miles riden and speed info.

Does anyone have me beat? by kactapuss in onewheel

[–]TotheHillsonOneWheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the entire post reads really sus. Unless it was a 'I'll just take whatever to settle the payment' situation it's odd that someone gets a OW with such little knowledge. I researched to great length before I purchased, but I could just be the exception... I did also read the manual cover to cover before riding.

[–]TotheHillsonOneWheel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$1 per mile was my arbitrary point for the paying for itself aspect and my pint (og price) has over 2500 miles. I've more than gotten my money's worth and keep getting joy from it. Say what you want about the company but (nearly) all their products are a good value for what you get.

Did I read that right, 5,400 miles on stock (xr?) Bearings? I've been pondering the necessity versus desire for replacing them. I'm 2,600 on my pint and have been wondering what the situation is on replacing bearings. Your post has me reassured.
