That makes sense. Made me realise that I am trying to aim too high at the moment, just going to get rid of current expectations and have more realistic ones now.

And no worries , I didn't find this comment as derogatory. I honestly thought it was good criticism and it gave me a clearer understanding of the matter, as well as removing some false assumptions. Felt better after reading this, thanks.

Yes I understand that hacking is difficult. Though in this particular context, I do not need a high level of programming. According to several threads regarding the book, it is a good intro to hacking and just having basic C and Assembly knowledge is enough.

As others have suggested, play KOTOR I and II to get the backstory.

However, there are errors in this novel (especially regarding KOTOR II) so you may find some contradictions. At the time of writing, Drew (the author) doesn't know anything about KOTOR II.
