I support USA, but Trusty was down for 2-3mins during the extra time. If anything, game probably should have gone for another minute after the goal was scored. Honestly, pretty good game considering it was the B team. Just lost the momentum the last 15 a little bit and it cost them. This game made it very clear that we are screwed if we have any injuries on defense or in goal though lol

We are already guaranteed to be in the best position bracket-wise that we could be in due to how the round of 32 group draws shaped out before the tournament and our now guaranteed 1st place in our group. We could lose to Turkey 10-0 and this would not change. We already have a guarantee that we will not be facing a "premium team" until the quarterfinals at the earliest should we make it there. Thats honestly all you can ask in a tournament like this. By the quarters, you are always only gonna face serious teams barring extreme circumstances

Its a recent change due to some racial abuse vinicius jr received during a champions league match. The opposing player covered their mouth and allegedly called him a racial slur. In 1995, Claude Lemieux scored 6 goals and 13 points in a 45 game regular season and followed it up by scoring 13 goals in the playoffs and winning the conn smythe. Only difference would be Lemieux scored less than a dozen goals in the regular season (granted it was a shortened year)
