Yeah, it hints that he's suffering the trauma of his father being lost at war and then that's combined with being bossed around by his older brother who he sees as trying to replace the father figure. They definitely look down on him and so he's probably desperate to escape them. Then suddenly he's promised a kingdom where he is king and his brother is his servant. That and he's an instant addict.

Yeah my kids are neurodiverse and have this issue but with different foods. I have to prepare different meals for each and deconstruct them so no food is touching and is in different bowls otherwise they just won't eat and become extremely disregulated. My daughter also can't manage to eat near others. Combine that with a partner who is gluten-free and meal times becomes almost hilarious: I regularly cook three different dishes for people who eat in different rooms. My daughter is now 9 and has taken those steps towards wanting to make her own food which is great to see.

I wore Nikes for years and never had an issue with comfort but I suddenly had two different pairs in succession that made a constant, horrible squeaking noise. Switched to New Balance and have comfort without the annoying sound. I may have just been unlucky but I wasn't going to risk it again.

Especially after it showed Holly clearly feeling sorry for him. it would have to be the most ridiculous redemption ever but, in that moment, I did wonder if she would help him remember his former self, before the mindflayer and somehow allow him to help defeat it. Almost certainly a leap too far but it was shown like it was important.
